Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.75/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Too short. Great voice acting and art. But the ENTIRE game takes place in 4 rooms in a Bus Station office. Dude, this was boring in the end. I love point and click adventures and this wasn't very good.
Its really cute and fun, but for the price I feel it should've had a little more content. If you buy it, I would recommend buying it on sale

I had no idea what I was getting into playing this. I saw there was a duck detective and said "that sounds cute" and bought it. I did NOT expect it to be so funny and I did NOT expect it to have amazing voice acting. I thought that this would have been a game for kids that adults could also enjoy (kinda like the Frog Detective games). And yeah while I GUESS this could be considered kid friendly, you can definitely tell it was tailored to an older audience (teens/adults). I would looooove to play a full length game of this tbh. I'd invest 10 hours in it!!
The game itself is well put together. I didn’t encounter any bugs, the mechanics make sense, and the art style is cute. My two main qualms: 1. It’s too short. 2. There is no real satisfaction to be had in figuring something out. I honestly thought the first case would be the first of like, three or something. Nope. It wasn’t, but I could at least live with that if I was emotionally invested in the story and/or the characters, but… Nope. There really wasn’t enough time to get to know any of them, and while some of the surface level details are cute, I wouldn’t be able to say I had a favourite, or that I ultimately cared what happened to anybody. The case was pretty straightforward, and if I ever got stuck, I found I could just jam random words into the blanks until something fit, more often than not. And like I mentioned prior, there was no real satisfaction in figuring out anything - no major plot twists, no big new location that opens up for exploration… nothing. It could be that I was looking for something a little more meaty and harrowing, like Obra Dinn or Roottrees, and what I ended up with was the cosy version of that, which was a little too cosy for my tastes. I guess I wanted something more challenging that lasted longer than what I got here. It’s not like it’s a bad game, and if you know it’s short and sweet and generally simple with zero replayability going in - and you’re able to get it on sale - more power to you. I love ducks, and I love detectives - but Duck Detective just wasn’t for me.
A pretty fun investigation game! I liked the art style & voice acting of the characters, and the mechanic of filling out the investigation with things mentioned in character's dialogue is neat. I played it on detective mode for most of the game, but I wound up switching to story mode near the end when I couldn't figure out a certain deducktion I needed to progress further.
1小时超短篇。 推理解谜成分约等于没有,全程枚举调查后做完形填空。 有点黑色幽默的基调,但笔力太弱,也浪费全程配音了。 总体比较意义不明的游戏。
Absolutely loved playing Duck Detective!! I played through it and them immediately bought the second one and played through that too! The voice acting and humour is fantastic and I really enjoyed finding the clues and filling in the correct words and figuring out codes etc I wish the games were longer just because I enjoy them so much. I really hope to see more duck detective in the future!
A good and very fun little detective game. Funny little twists and turns.
Cute short game. Lovely, filled with Duck jokes. Perfect to play in company of friends who also enjoy duck filled humor Well made, cute art, for me worth buying at full price since is so lovely
