Dualis gameplay is a blend of stealth-action with survival horror elements. The decision whether to act stealthily, eliminating enemies silently, or to collect ammo and items left in the level and start an open fight is entirely in the player's hands. Reviews
8/10
For $3 this is an absolute steal. Ignore the AI voices in the trailer, there were real VAs used in the version I played so I'm assuming the trailer is outdated. The "good": -Cool sci-fi vibes -Space zombies -Interesting combat and exploration -Intriguing and kept me engaged -Great visuals for an isometric The "bad": -I feel like the zombies' movement patterns and behaviors could be tuned a little to better accommodate the stealth part of the gameplay. There's not a lot of nuance, it's just black & white "spotted/unseen" with no in-between, no buffer time to stealth kill an enemy if they see you at the very last second, no mechanic to quickly dispatch unaware enemies coming through a door or around a corner, etc. The ugly: -The color/camera puzzle to get the computer code in Episode 2 threw me for a loop. I used every line of logic that made sense and could NOT progress further. Doesn't help that there's next to no information online (not the game's fault, I just couldn't progress). Had to give up, maybe I'll come back to it one day.
