About
Aren't you tired of being nice? Don’t you just want to… bite something?
The Struggle Is Real
Drywall Eating Simulator is a physics-based 3D adventure carefully constructed to simulate the delights of late capitalist life. Engage in small talk, hit your KPIs, and maximize value for shareholders. And when you can’t take it anymore you go and eat some drywall.
Wall Buffet
Peek into your neighbor’s apartment, navigate a retail nightmare, or schmooze your way through a pretentious art gala. Where there’s a will there’s a way, and where there’s a way, there’s drywall! Smash through walls not just to clear a path, but to cope the only way your body knows how.
Small Talk is Overrated
Annoying tech bros, gamer rivalries, and strangers constantly feel the need to overshare. Every interaction will raise your stress level. Your patience? Gone. But you know what’s always there for you? I’ll give you a hint, it rhymes with schmywall.
But Like...Why Drywall?
Why not drywall? Life is filled with everyday pressures and stressors. Your boss is a nightmare, your friends keep ghosting you, politicians are driving you nuts - but not drywall. Drywall doesn’t ask questions, it doesn’t gossip, it doesn’t judge you, and it doesn’t bore you to death with small talk. It crumbles only when you need it to. And in that crumble you find yourself…or at least find a tasty(?) distraction.
Discover the delights of late capitalist drudgery!
Multiple levels with a colorful cast of fellow humans to talk to!
Delicious drywall!
Avoid various nosy NPCs trying to get up in your business...
Don't let your anger get out of control...
Keep your secret safe...

Just like the real thing, I would know since I have first hand experience
A cute and funny exploration of the various pitfalls and stressors of modern life. Navigate increasingly aggravating people by munching on drywall to lower your blood pressure. I took psychic damage from the relevance and prescience of so much of the social commentary. Highly recommend if you want a good laugh at the horrors of modern society!
the game is genuinely unbeatable i tried over and over i looked for any vods you cant beat th art gallery maybe they fix it but rn dont buy it until then do
How do you manage to live in a society? Doesn't matter. Eat Drywall about it.
honestly just more boring than I thought it would be. competently made game, just writing is only ok and eating wall to explore levels wasn't done that great
It's everything it says it is and more. And the more I played it the more I desired to eat the dry wall not just because haha drywall eating funny but also because existence on earth is madness and eating drywall is the only thing that will make me better. How accurately the devs depict the state of capitalistic society in current times was incredibly accurate in a way to draw out even more horrors when you realize that as much as the game is a horrifying depiction of society... so too is the one we live in and we cannot escape this one like we can the game and that is the true horror. Did I get too deep? I always over think things but damn this game was a trippy experience. On the last two levels I did get a little stuck trying to find the direction I was intended to go just long enough to get frustrated but I still finished and enjoyed the game for exactly what it is meant to be. My only issue is the pixely glitchy visuals that I know are intentional depiction of the decay of madness in the simulation when your stress levels become too high but aspects of it can be a bit visually overwhelming and it would be nice to have an accessibility feature for photosensitive individuals to adjust it. (if there was one I just didn't see it)
Charming and very well-written! Interacting with all the NPCs is delightfully frustrating, munching the drywall has a great tactile crunch, and the environments are packed with fun details. Highly recommended if you're looking for a short, funny little experience.
Therapy is expensive, eating other people's drywall is free
Unironically fantastic, an ode to the art of game design. I learned about this game while watching GDQ 2026 and had to immediately purchase it after seeing the office level. A cathartic outlet for our collective anger in today's insane world.
Wish I enjoyed this, I liked the art but everything else was either tolerable or boring. The lack of visual settings to turn off the very annoying "CRT" filter really sours the experience a lot especially when you can't read the words that well with how distorted it sometimes gets. 2/10
