This game is awesome and needs more love. Its creepy, engaging, and moody. The story is lite on details but there is enough to get a sense of a terrifying world that the player is only just getting a sense of.
eigentlich simpel, aber dennoch fesselt es wenn man mal anfängt.
I love this game, it's a great mix of things I never imagined to fit together so well. You have mystery, a compelling story that barely gives you enough to piece the story together yourself, little tidbits of information that make you want to go out looking for more. The atmosphere is fantastic, it made me feel claustrophobic and on edge whenever I went down to the lower levels. Thankfully I had a russian friend to translate the grafitti for me, which I feel adds a lot of interesting tidbits, I hope the dev adds a little visual to explain what it means :) I highly recommend it for anyone who likes an odd mix of genres and mystery. I can't wait for more updates! edit: dev please let me date the announcer
This game has alot of potential while its understandable its going for a Horror vibe there are some missing quality of life features that would make the game truely better i have a few suggestions: 1. allow selling of overstock of farm goods - i threw in 10 cabbages just to see if it counts and well nothing 2. ranged weapons - im not saying "Give me a Gun" but how about throwing Darts/Knifes/Glass Shards (See already 3 tiers) - just something to quickly throw at a distance to deal a little damage in safe distance 3. a "no Story" mode thats just about surviving - you die the safe whipes - and the more days you survive the more items get unlocked in the shop from the get go without having to find disks to unlock the items 4. Modifiers - to make runs a little different like an "apocalypse" mode where more enemies spawn - or a "Reverse Sandbox" mode where you are given only the bare minimum but stuff is unlocked through doing your daily tasks 5. it would also be nice to increase the stack size of small items like the cabbage to 5 6. give the monkey something to do maybe if you keep feeding it it occasionally steals a water bottle from the water bottle machine giving you a free health item every once in a while 7. an OPTIONAL Hunger mechanic to give Food more uses 8. alternativly a Steam Workshop that allows the adding of new Items such as Furniture weapons and enemies to customize the expirence
Really fun gameplay loop. Kind of short but that might've been for the best, I could see myself getting burned out if the grind was doubled. Don't see myself replaying atm but I would absolutely come back in the future to see how updates panned out. Also, game runs great. Yeah, I have a beast of a system. I still can't max out a lot of unoptimized games that oversaturate todays market. Had everything maxxed on this title, looked great and never dropped below 144 fps (which it was capped at).
TLDR: If you like what you see then I would recommend you play it, but after the first hour or so its just the same thing. None of the elements are fleshed out enough, but the core concept is very good. The core gameplay is comprised of 3 styles, 1 Organizing trash for money, 2 Cleaning up and improving the base, and 3 going into the lower levels to loot and fight. 1. Organizing trash for money is fine, I personally was expecting a more tedious task, Cash Cleaning Simulator was my most favorite game from last year, so I was expecting that, but really it isn't to complicated, and fairly early on you get access to a tool that makes the organizing trivial 2. The base is probably the most interesting aspect, as you go along you can unlock better aspects, and "solve" the mystery of where you are, there aren't a ton of cosmetic options, and the cost of items is decently high, it would take far too long to make anything special 3. Going into the lower depths and fighting is decently entertaining, sadly too late into my playthrough I realized you didn't have to wait to be told to go down there, and can reset it as much as you want, the game does tell you this, but I thought it just meant you can return until the next reset, so that was on me, 4. Combat isn't very complicated, plays almost like a turn based rpg, block then hit, would be nice if it allowed for more interesting gameplay, but its fine. Overall I think this is a very good proof of concept, and I very much look forward to what the Dev does next.
The games name can be taken literally, everything you do is tedious. Put the shaped object in the shaped hole, search the lower levels looking for something while killing a few zombies, lastly put seeds in dirt and wait. It is good if you need a time killer. Bad if you would prefer spending your time doing something meaningful. Bought on a whim to give it a go and I did not find it fun. An interesting concept for sure, very few games I have played put you in a role of perpetual servitude but fun it was not.
awesome
Horrific game frankly. Not fun, cringe, lame.
i pick up trash , i put down trash. i put trash in wrong hole X(
