There are a few gameplay loops going on here. You've got a trash/sorting/cleaning bit, some very basic gardening, decorating, and extraction. The soundtrack is quite good. The trash/sorting part works fairly well. Pick up trash, toss it into the right collection area, make money, buy stuff. You can buy a vacuum that speeds this up. It can only suck up one type of material at a time, which works for what we're doing. The majority of my time was spent doing this trash/cleaning bit. I found it to be the easiest way to make money. You can get a sponge to clean walls. Not sure what the point of it was, and it was unsatisfying to do. The gardening is very simple. Put down a planter, ready the soil, plant things, wait, harvest. You can sell the crops or use them for the quest of dropping off a certain amount when those are there. It works, but is mostly unsatisfying. Decorating is alright. You buy things or find stuff during your extraction trips that you can use to decorate the various rooms of the bunker. It feels like the end goal is to make your bunker look like a nice place to be, I guess. And then there's extraction. Easily the worst part of the game. Combat is dreadfully awful. You can attack, block, and also shoot things. None of it is good. For a couple of reasons. 1. It's just not satisfying. Weapons don't have any impact with enemies, and it is far too easy to be killed if there is more than one enemy. 2. The Axe, Crowbar, Shovel, and other items you might use as a melee weapon have absolutely terrible durability. You'll have to buy this stuff, which becomes tedious over time considering you can barely clear a room of shrubbery without the axe breaking. 3. Your gun can apparently hold like one bullet at a time? Maybe 2. I am not certain, but it doesn't make much sense. Ultimately after 2 hours, I find it hard to go back into it. The trash portion isn't compelling enough considering the vast majority of what you can buy with the money earned are purely cosmetic. That and knowing how things break so quickly.. Ugh, just kind of ruins the whole thing for me.
fantastic game, feels a lot like voices of the void in a way. big recommend.
It's weird, it's a little tedious, but there's a fine line between tedium and cozy sorting and cleaning and organizing. The weirdness kept me in there, as well as the little adventures I could take to punctuate the organizational portion of the game. As of me writing this, they are still in Early Access, but the game allows for a "complete" ending of sorts.
Big fan. 9/10. Finish whole game in about 12 hours. Was hooked from the start to the end. One of the few games I stayed a little longer to get more achievements only missing 1000 rubbish sorting and the highest difficulty one. I'd say it's the best value game I've bought this year so far and hands down one of the most interesting games to come out recently. It hooked me like inscription due to the mystery and had multiple gameplay elements. Any "good be better" aspects are possibly expeditions but honestly that's a small part of the whole game. I decorated my bunker, unlocked everything and had fun doing it. I don't usually write reviews but I really felt the need to for this game as it is a class in making a fun gameplay, story mystery horror without being overwhelming and for a cheap price. Well done to the developer and looking forward to any other projects he/she has.
This game is amazing. You can't tell it's early access at all and the Dev is actively working on it. There is farming, house flipper like aspects all with a horror vibe.
Awesome game Check it out.
Cool game very similiar to dishwashing. If you never played that (which you probably haven't) It's basically a game where you're trapped and given a menial task of busywork. Doing the task earns you money, which you can spend upon comfort or amenities for yourself. Sometimes you'll be tasked with going down to a procedurally generated dungeon with enemies where there's combat and gathering loot. Sneaking away when you have free time to explore your "home" leads to finding a way to escape and more about the lore of where you're trapped and and the world and all that.
Good
Fairly fun game; I beat it all within around nine or so hours, though I am missing a few achievements here and there. The gameplay loop is pretty enjoyable overall- it combines several unique concepts, such as a trash sorting simulator, a farming simulator, an extraction sim, and a decor sim. These systems work fairly well together, and I will add that the atmosphere of the horror sections is surprisingly solid; I typically don't get frightened at games, but something about the dark corridors and the enemies approaching rapidly made me jump several times. One downside I will say is that the game can be a little unclear at times. Unclear if you are hitting an enemy, unclear how to move forward with certain game aspects (ie: at one point you will find a pile of bones. The way to complete the mini quest with them is a bit counterintuitive). However, I did enjoy the game overall and was surprised it only has a 123 reviews on steam; this seems like a game that should be far more popular. I waited a bit to actually play this game, but now that I have completed it, I will be following its development for sure.
