About

There's a lot more to Drop Pockets than just pool balls. From hockey pucks to the planet Jupiter, each ball has the power to carry your run or stop it dead in its tracks.
Pool Sharks wait at the end of every round, ready to cut your run short by applying new rules to the table. By changing physics, adding obstacles, or just flooding the table with balls, these bosses demand your best.
Rack up your points and get rich quick with items and upgrades. Combine dozens of Chalks, Racks, and Cues for many potential builds and ride your highs to success in Drop Pockets!

Really fun and addictive game with lots of variables, twists, and turns!

The idea is fun but you don't make enough money in between rounds quick enough to make any substantial builds early. You got to just wing it. For most modes it just all comes down to you resetting constantly to get a favorable first few bosses. It would be great if there was a synergies reminder for each decision you make.
I've loved pool games since I played Lunar Ball for the NES, and the mechanics are novel and very amusing. I love all the references and puns the Pool Sharks and items have and I can't wait to see what version 1.0 will entail. The only two things I can say are my best suggestions are to be able to remap keys so I can set scrolling que's and chalk to mouse wheel/buttons, and a multiplayer mode. I love the idea of playing against a friend in "standard" pool, but every turn something changes or you can select powerups and nerfs like Mario Kart to get the edge up on your opponent.
Good game good content
Great game. Oba doba
I was pretty hesitant to pick this game up because there has been speculation the dev doesn't update it enough. I have to say, ever since I picked this up I am unable to put it down. I still have not won a single Run but I am getting very close, and learning the deeper strategies. I really think that this game has a huge potential to become something I would up there with Balatro, Brotato, Lone Tower, Slay the Spire in many ways - Games you can't help but keep playing and trying to end up doing everything in. There is a strong need for more improved balancing, additional content, and maybe a little more polish but this game is a gem for sure. To the dev, I truly appreciate what you have made here and hope to see it completed and much more coming!
The game play and the idea is fun. It's a fun little game to play and the purchase is well worth it. Though I suggest you use a Steam Deck in order to play it, that's how it functioned the best for me, though it did crash constantly to the point of unplayability on my computer.
When I started playing this game I was really confused how all the items and mechanics worked. Once I got into the game, I started having a lot of fun with all the different pool sharks and items. I think if you really like 8 ball pool, you will understand why this is fun and experimental.
I first saw this game being played and beta'd by one of my favorite streamers(Pren) and I got interested in it. From the game mechanics to the rouge-like gameplay, it is easily one of my favorite games that I have. The background music is great, the sharks and their mechanics are fantastic, the way that no 2 runs are the same, this game continues to be interesting and fun to the point that it is a permanent game in my library. Where I get bored with games and remove them to have a perpetual rotating library, this game is not apart of that rotation.
