Drizzlepath: Glass

Monumentally tedious. I was in a coma once. It was more entertaining than this. At least the other games in the series have some sense of progression. This is "open world" meaning you're just dumped in a vast open space and have to wander round and round until something happens. Which may or may not achieve anything. And usually has nothing to do with the plot.

If you're a fan of this person's work I imagine you won't be negatively surprised by anything Drizzlepath: Glass does. Having played and reviewed Nephise and nothing else similar, this is basically the same game but longer and better-executed. There's almost nothing going on mechanically, it's just a bunch of macabre tokens littered about a beautiful, intangible landscape. It's cutely self-aware, and it takes about as long to finish blind as it takes for all the steam trading cards to drop, which is definitely a plus. The voice acting and sound design is solid, though my path through chapter 2 broke the music cues and it blasted until I hit chapter 3. The story... I'll let you come to your own conclusions about that. Play it if you like artsy walking simulators without a gameplay hook, but personally I don't know anyone likely to be in the target demographic, so negative review from me. Do not overthink the puzzles.

L'aspetto positivo è la possibilità di muoversi in una ambientazione piuttosto curata; manca però la possibilità di capire cosa stiamo facendo, o cosa e dove dobbiamo andare. Un minimo di introduzione o di guida introduttiva aiuterebbe molto! Per il resto (ho appena iniziato il capitolo 3) vedremo cosa ci aspetta. A chi (come me) piace girare in paesaggi e luoghi piacevoli e rilassanti da solo, lo consiglio!
