I think I need to warn people that unlike other games where you see a sci-fi hud and a drill, this one isn't about smelting iron and building conveyor belts, or returning to a base to upgrade suit and bag. It's a game where the main mechanic is navigating a THOROUGHLY confusing gravity-shifting underground. It's like a Metroidvania Lite in that there's upgrades, but few of those are progress-gating. So if you like solving a navigation puzzle in 3D underground, this is the game for you. For me, it's one of the rare cases I will hit recommend on a game I'm not quite positive on (yet). It's good for what it aims to do, I'm just stupid.
It does what it says on the tin. It's all about drilling and I like that. There's a nice little story to go along with it and the whole thing is even voice acted! Huge props for that. Easy recommend at such a low price.
I highly recommend this game. It's very dark and can make you feel quite confined. I like the story and the atmosphere. The price is very reasonable and fair. You can easily spend many hours in this mine. Try it yourself and form your own opinion.
Very cool. i was expecting a very classic "upgrade and go farther", but nope. Nice story, well thought. Will probably do it again in a few years when i'll have forgotten it a bit
I enjoyed the simplicity of the mechanics and the gradual unfolding of the story! Unfortunately, I had to refund because it was incompatible with my medical condition and I was getting bad motion sickness after a while. But! Highly recommend for folks who want a good digging type game with a story. I felt interested every time I encountered a new point of interest. I just wish I wasn't so terribly prone to motion sickness, or I would have definitely finished this one out!
100% recommand. Very nice with a lot of small details! Controls are well done. I think Subnautica fans will enjoy this game as I did. IMHO, the game would have been perfect with base and railway creation! <3
It's fun for about 30 minutes, then the meat of the game becomes very frustrating, very fast, the majority of the game has you drilling to random locations to find bay stations, all while keeping your air, power and suit utilities running, if you run out of air you die, if you run out of power you can't see and if your gravity boots run out of power you're stuck and have to restart, the problem is, you get stuck everywhere you go, go too far into the wall and you lose all the gravity and suddenly you're stuck and are forced to restart, the ores that are used to replenish your suit are either found in abundance or not at all, meaning that if you go into the red there's no guarantee that you'll find ores just by drilling, worst still, you need to use a bay station to actually use them and some of them are broken, so you have to backtrack a lot to ensure you can succeed, I honestly didn't make it far in this game because I kept having to restart, its a shame, it has potential but is poorly executed!
so this game itches the digging bug i get but the only real thing that bugs me is the mapping for it. it has no detail so i end up running in circles cuz i cant find the other area so i have been making the area swiss cheese i enjoy the digging but trying to do the story and cant find the story stuff
I am a big fan of the drilling concept, But in this game it gets a bit boring. I found myself playing just to see what kind of gear i could get, but after getting the
Laser Drill
i just had no motivation left to play. the story went nowhere or somewhere very slow. All the locations are pretty much the same as far as i could find in the 4 hours i've played. And i thought it would have crafting which would have been nice. Overall, i cannot recommend it, it is lacking a lot.
pro: -voiced -digging -good visuals con: -stats decrease very fast making the game not fun -no crafting -no desire to complete game and solve the mysteries
