The game could be really cool, but it's just not fun. Trying to aim at enemies is nearly impossible for the player, but they aim virtually perfectly every time. The *only* way to actually survive is to equip a turreted cannon, which works, but that means you only can use *one* weapon. That sucks, because there's so many options you're given that just don't work. Give me mouse aiming, then maybe this will be good. Right now, you're just being made fun of by playing. This game is way too hard, but not because it requires skill. You just get killed instantly without even being close to being able to respond.

Drift can be fun when you get good at it, but when you are new i sugjest useing a cannon with the servos upgrade and titanium ammo. So far i have had alot of fun with this game, but i think there should be more game modes or Difficultys.

Я думаю, что меня немного обманули и это нифига не дрифт. Я бы не советовал, но посоветую.
I can only recommend trying this game out, since it is free to play and it sure has lots of potential. Since I have only played on the arcade difficulty, I can only speak from the experience I had from that. The positives of this game for me are: - free to play - lots of control over your ship, unlike many games where you can control a ship with few buttons - tons of different ships and pieces of equipment, making the game quite interesting if you want to explore those things However, there are a few flaws or choices that make it a bit harsh and sometimes frustrating, therefore difficult to enjoy, such as: - insanely strong enemies, sometimes just straight up stronger than you (e.g. quad cannon with around 4 bullets/s and titanium bullets and dunno, 10/20 armor/hull?) - erratic movement combined with screen wrap and random asteroids; The AI sometimes flies off in such weird manner that it is pretty much impossible to chase and attack them properly (e.g. that wide 2 missile hunter that likes to spin in a circle) - sometimes slow or way too fast progression with frustrating deaths (sometimes there are no enemies on screen for about 10 seconds or more, then some where suddenly there are 3 titanium fighters at once, just obliterating you) Extra notes: improvement: This is only my opinion, whether you agree or not is another story, but here is something I thought could be improved: - the name Roid (Maybe some explanation for that abbreviation could be helpful, since it took me a bit until I understood what it meant) - first derelict should not have random items, since you can immediately restart and it only hinders you - targetting. It is nearly impossible to fight enemies head on head with your own aim, since there is no form of assistance or controlled movement. one light tap to the right or left and you're miles off. And since turrets need heavy hardpoints, I never viewed ships without heavies as viable. In addition to that, the turrets are sometimes really bad at aiming, even when the enemy ship is emp stunned, which is quite bothersome. - in the derelict, there should be some kind of undo, in case you fall short on score at the end and notice that you still need that tank of fuel. It is quite bothersome to do everything again every time you fail one buy. Also, it makes it easier to switch to Cruisers (which I have never accomplished yet), since you can see how much you will need until you can swap, otherwise you try it out and see that you are about 300 score short. (No clue how you are actually able to ever do that) - instead of wrapping around on the screen, maybe the screen should move with your ship, so you can see incoming roids? I thought it was super irritating when the enemies wrap around and neither you nor the enemy could shoot at each other, especially since turrets are pretty much the only way to put up a fight. - not infinitely flying missiles? In combination with the fact that the AI seems to be pretty kamikaze suicidal and equipped with unlimited ammo, missiles should be nerfed a bit, they fly around forever, with the enemies' initial monster aim and one hit almost meaning your immediate death possible bugs: - Roid powerups don't drop score anymore, it seems - Scanners with the left upgrade doesn't have much effect, especially not the named function of showing loaded missiles That is all I had to say for now, TL;DR frustratingly difficult with the lacking fighting abilities, but still fun and entertaining for the exploration of equipment and ships, as well as the gameplay itself
Game felt buggy and glitchy, It hits you with an utter mountain of information that you fumble around with, eventually getting bored with. The UI is poor and in general the game looks more like the fever dream of a 14 year old game designer. Needs much work
