Do not buy devs just using it for cash grab with nothing to show for how much money they have been given.
TL;DR This game is broken, abandoned and not worth you your time and it seems like the Devs are repeat offenders.
As a backer on Kickstarter i thought it was time to put my own two cents in. From the beginning the team was open and willing to share their progress up until backers got their early access keys in 2016 and we received something very underdeveloped compared to what we were being shown. But hey its early access & i'm a patient person RIGHT?. For the next year we continued get regular newsletters about progress at least once a month but after that word from the dev team got more sparse until eventually it 2019 their social media correspondent announced that they were leaving the team and since then this game and its team has been at a complete stand still. and i honestly forgot the game existed. Until today!! where i am currently setting up a new PC saw this game still in my library and decided to do a quick "Where are they Now?" Both Sky Drake Studios and Red Level Games seem to have removed any trace of their existence outside of the original Facebook pages, but i did chance upon a 2017 article from Tri-Cities area Journal of Business stating that Red Level Games "recently landed its biggest contract"..."offering players a fun, safe way to explore the pot industry in the game called Cash Crop." that game does indeed exist and its here on steam, it was released to early access later that same year under a new company name "Joint Ventures", got a solid year of content updates and also got suddenly dropped with its player base only just now coming to terms to what had happened to them. I'll include the article if anyone wishes to give it a read for themselves. https://www.tricitiesbusinessnews.com/2017/01/red-level-games/

This game has been DOWN-DATED several times since i bought this 5½ years ago. No, yeah, i do mean down-dated and not up-dated. I bought it just after another DOWN-date when other buyers still had faith. The game did see some extremely rare updates as well but most of the content added by updates was down-dated oncemore. Basicly, i can still make a dragon character but not as elaborate as i could when i first bought the game. & the dragon can fly a bit further away from the starting point. That's all in 6 years "development". At one point we briefly had the opportunity to murder Humans and fight giants but that update was countered by another down-date. The pictures they promissed us in trailers and on Facebook, we never saw any of that in the game. Last message at their FB
Dragon: The Game January 9, 2019 · A quick note from your social media correspondent: This will be my last post for you guys. I’ve enjoyed working for Dragon, but this year I’ve decided to pursue other opportunities. I don’t believe a successor has been chosen for this position yet, so you may experience a gap in updates. Sorry about that! Hopefully this position will be filled quickly. It’s been great interacting with everyone, and I wish you all the best. Have a good 2019!
Looking back to when I bought this game in 2016 or something, I've come to realize in the last 4 years that Steam is just FULL of horrible, dead, abandoned cash-grabs. I feel like I need to thank this game, and it's deadbeat developers (Who, surprisingly, added me and have not been online in over 2 years) for opening me up to the world of buyer's beware and not purchasing ♥♥♥♥ that looks like something someone with advanced brain damage could cobble together with unity. So yeah, guess this is something of a piece of history for me.
How is this still on steam?
Abandonware.
Why does this game still have a steam page?
Bought this game on launch and had high hopes, learned a hard lesson about early access, and forgot about it. Just saw it again in my library, so more than a review, this is a request to steam. Take this garbage scam off your platform.
Game is abandoned.
I had hoped that this game would become better with time but i was wrong. dont buy this game. if you wanna be a dragon then buy the new spyro game
