Abandoned. It was a nice concept, but they never continued development. In it's current state: Don't buy!
Do not buy devs just using it for cash grab with nothing to show for how much money they have been given.
This game has been DOWN-DATED several times since i bought this 5½ years ago. No, yeah, i do mean down-dated and not up-dated. I bought it just after another DOWN-date when other buyers still had faith. The game did see some extremely rare updates as well but most of the content added by updates was down-dated oncemore. Basicly, i can still make a dragon character but not as elaborate as i could when i first bought the game. & the dragon can fly a bit further away from the starting point. That's all in 6 years "development". At one point we briefly had the opportunity to murder Humans and fight giants but that update was countered by another down-date. The pictures they promissed us in trailers and on Facebook, we never saw any of that in the game. I’ve enjoyed working for Dragon, but this year I’ve decided to pursue other opportunities. I don’t believe a successor has been chosen for this position yet, so you may experience a gap in updates. Sorry about that! Hopefully this position will be filled quickly. It’s been great interacting with everyone, and I wish you all the best. Have a good 2019! [/quote]
Looking back to when I bought this game in 2016 or something, I've come to realize in the last 4 years that Steam is just FULL of horrible, dead, abandoned cash-grabs. I feel like I need to thank this game, and it's deadbeat developers (Who, surprisingly, added me and have not been online in over 2 years) for opening me up to the world of buyer's beware and not purchasing ♥♥♥♥ that looks like something someone with advanced brain damage could cobble together with unity. So yeah, guess this is something of a piece of history for me.
How is this still on steam?
Abandonware.
Bought this game on launch and had high hopes, learned a hard lesson about early access, and forgot about it. Just saw it again in my library, so more than a review, this is a request to steam. Take this garbage scam off your platform.
Why does this game still have a steam page?
Game is abandoned.
I had hoped that this game would become better with time but i was wrong. dont buy this game. if you wanna be a dragon then buy the new spyro game
