I got this game off of Kickstarter for 15 CAD$ I knew going into it that it was early alpha, and it wouldn't have much to it. And what I found was about what I expected, although it felt slightly lackluster due to not having any tangible RPG elements; but still, I thought it was most certainly going to develop into something great. This was in 2016. I noticed nothing seemed to be happening in terms of updates, and shrugged it off; forgetting about this game. After a while I saw some emails from it, that the developers found a sponsor, and were going to go back to working on it. I was thrilled and followed the updates eagerly. In 2019 I tried the game again. It was worse. I don't know how they managed it, but the game was worse. The physics were the same, the graphics were the same controls ect. But the map. Before there was this large map, with little villages and humans around. Even a great lake to fly over! And it had an, albeit broken, quest system. The new version had NONE of these... I was dumbfounded... in three years of development they made it WORSE. It was at this point I truly realized, this game, this game was never going to be made. I like to hope the developers were good intentioned people who just realized they were in over their heads... but the fact that this game now charges 20$ for it, and there is nothing there... It makes me suspicious. I never expected a completed game, I was content with just a sandbox environment I could run around and play. I would probably still be giving this a positive review, although it should have a lower price, if that's what it was at this point. But it's not... I can't even roam the entire tiny map they have implemented, it glitches out and resets me back to the center. Please... Don't buy this game. It really is a waste of your money, it's not even an investment into something. I have followed this game for four years now, and it has only gotten worse. I wish I could say this game was good, or decent, or with potential, but it's not. P.s. I suggest you sort the reviews by "Most Recent" to get an accurate understanding of it. The top comments are all from 2015-16, when it was still reasonable for it to be in such a state... after four years I atleast want a functional map to roam around. That's it.... Just a functional map... In a few years I might try it again, who knows... but don't put your hopes in it... and please don't give them 20$ for a game they have only downgraded in the past four years.
I can't believe this is still on Steam with an actual price on it. The price of the game should be the same for the rights to take over and actually finish it, instead of screwing anyone who actually paid for it. This was released ion 2014. Absolute TRASH. DO NOT BUY.
Game is abandoned, do not waste your money. Nice concept but no progress for years.
bought the game back in 2013-2015 and after a long absence i decided to revisit the game to see if any progression had been made i was sad then to see there had infact not been any progression and nothing has changed grapthics are equivelent to the sega consoles gameplay is none existent maps struggle to render even on a powerful rig freezes on loading screen
He's dead Jim.
Scam. I bought this game years ago back when it had potential. I've revisited it time and again hoping against hope something would be different. And it was. They made it worse and then forgot about it. DO NOT PURCHASE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BELIEVE THE ADVERTISEMENT IMAGES IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THAT. that is what it USED to look like when i first bought it. I played it again today to see what it was right now and its still a barren wasteland where you can fly off the tiny board and spin in the void forever. there are no buildings, there are no mountains, there is no snow. its a gray, flat, unpopulated table floating in the worst sky box you have EVER seen. the cake is a lie. The "dev" lists this game on his linked in profile as though it is finished and is an accomplishment. The game website doesn't even reference this game. It talks about the genre of Dragon games. I know I'm just adding my voice to a chorus of others offering warning, but I hate the idea of anyone else giving this contemptible shyster more money for his deception. Can't believe he charges nearly $20 for this lazy back splash. Actually a scam and Steam supports it.
Game has been abandoned by devs, good concept but sad to see it die. I don't know why it is still up on steam but unless the rights get taken over by someone who will finish it no one should still be spending money on this game.
This game is absolutely horrendous. If i cared enough i would sue for false advertising that is how much this game is NOT like what they present. Im going to stop calling this a game now and instead begin to call it a pile of trash. This pile of trash has been out for nearly 6 YEARS now and has received extremely minor updates and borderline downgrades at times. As if that was not enough the game has seemingly been completely abandoned by the developers all the while steam still allows it to stay up and charge a RIDICULOUS $18. Just an FYI this was actually more than $18 at one point. Their social media is also dead as of January of 2019. This pile of trash had a chance. Now its just yet another shining example of why steams early access is a cesspool of hell.
the game was abandoned by its creators, it is now a ghost. the game itself is early alpha and very buggy with constant game breaking glitches. its such a shame because as someone who followed the development of this game since day one i wanted to see it succeed so bad. the concept of the game is absolutely amazing and such a fun idea.
This game is dead and is never going to be finished. It's not playable in its current state. Don't buy it.
