A game that is so simple, rudimentary and streamlined that it's perfectly pointless. You have a party of four. Each character is just a picture attached to four stats - HP, Attack, Defense and Speed. There is not skills, no planning, no stats, no bestiary, no specific equipment (just generic which you can abstractly upgrade, improving those stats in turn). Combat auto-happens - there is no involvement, no strategy nor tactics. The gameplay consists of constant backtracking for healing and resurrection, management of gold (loot) flow into upgrades (you can level up and upgrade equipment. Do the former first, if you cannot afford it, do the latter). Your objective is to paint the map with the "explored" color - the monsters do not respawn. It's a perfect game for a bot to play - or after a stroke, if you can barely move your fingers and have only vague notion of who and where you are. It would have been and absolute banger in 1985. Otherwise, in 2026, if you are sane and cognizant, your time is much better spent on more involved titles.
Fun, simple, short. Love da vibes, the graphics, the score. Really excited to see what all they added to the sequel.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Finished both modes in one evening. It's an easy, laid-back game you can play while listening to a podcast or something, or fully immerse yourself in for a quick session. I think it would be great to play on the go during a commute.
Very good streamlined dungeon crawler which reminds me of Wizardry and Akalabeth.
What fun little dungeon crawler. Very impressive conceptually and now I need to pick up the sequel to see what you can do with it in further iteration.
The focus of this game is amazing. The genre-standard stuff is intact, but they add little twists along the way to streamline the experience. Halfway through the game it felt like I was playing something new altogether. The art and writing are smart and in good taste. They have a little fun with it, but they take it seriously so it doesn’t fall into cornball satire. I love this game ❤️
Short, simple, strangely compelling. It's mostly an "imagination game", i.e. one which needs a good imagination to enjoy, but it has a lot that helps get the imagination stirring. The wireframe corridors with faces of black void, eerie music and ambient tracks and iconic dark-fantasy portrait art all make it a lot more enjoyable than the sum of its (mechanical) parts.
The game is what it is: A really simple little dungeon crawler with minimal manual gameplay. Nothing wrong with that, but I'd probably recommend buying the sequel for a little more texture and skipping this one.
no instructions or even a clue about what each class does, nor even control of combat, however, its great to kill time and fun to see how far you can if youre on a time limit in RL
Ate the game in 1 sitting. Games like this make you realize you aren't really tired, just longing for a good, simple game in the genre.
