I have played both the 2020 and 2022 versions and with that said, this game seems like a carbon copy. The game's interface looks similar, and there have been no changes whatsoever. There is no efficient way to create rosters with ease, and nothing new. Also, the graphic looks a bit wonky and looks outdated for a game like this. Instead of saying this game is a mess, I think it's best to say that this game needs a lot of improvement. Flesh out the editor more and add some more new features to keep the game fresh over the years. At least the real-life mod is at least a bit realistic, as the generic colleges just degrade the game substantially.

Solid college basketball management game.
My only real concern is that it can sometimes take a while to simulate large amounts of games. After all, there are hundreds of games being played, plus the recruiting calculations, injuries, and so on being calculated. It's not horrible as you can just have the game handle it while you do something else for a minute like shuffling songs or something. But it can be a bit annoying if you want to go through a season fast...all the simulations over the months are going to take a while.

great sports sim from a great company. incredibly responsive dev/support team that is clearly invested in and proud of the product they put out. more heart, soul, and hoop in here than in 150gb of 2k, thats for sure.

This game is a sim of the entire NCAA Division 1, so it's data heavy and sparse on graphics. A fan-made mod allows you to play with the real colleges and provides gorgeous icons and floor designs. The game is addictive and stable. I've been playing every day for a month. I have a few quibbles but the game itself provides a believable experience. Well worth the money.
