About
Double Down is a rogue-like FPS for high-octane high rollers. You are The Dealer, one of the card dealers for the Triple 0 Casino. Well… former card dealer. You and your fellow employees have been replaced with an advanced AI called The House. It can supposedly do everything the humans can, but better. No pay required. You only manage to take a few steps out the door before the AI takes over the casino. Now it’s up to you to defeat your enemies, get chips, and tip the odds in your favor as you descend through the Casino to get your job back.
Spin slots, risk it all on roulette, and go all in on ante to power your way through endless waves of enemies.
Mix and match dozens of unique upgrades to tear through the robot horde.
Save up your chips and cash them in to venture deeper into the Triple 0 Casino, and face the AI overlord behind it all.
You aren’t the only one getting upgrades. Look out for elite robots with big buffs and dangerous special abilities.
Bet on the roulette to get special challenges, but don’t slow down, or you might lose it all.
Learn more about The House and the Triple 0 Casino as you make your way through the hand-crafted levels.

Забавная времяубивалка, где мы противостоим тому, что рекламируют все говно-стримеры - казино. Геймплей простенький, но способен хоть немного завлечь.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 146 / 447 Category: Action Roguelike You play as a fed-up casino dealer fighting off waves of robot slot machines and other casino-themed chaos. The concept is great, and luckily the gameplay delivers—movement feels tight and responsive. Collecting chips could use a slight buff—maybe a wider pickup range or faster grab—but it’s manageable. The art style is stylish, and the sound design and music fit the theme well. Biggest issue? Some of the perk combinations are kind of broken… in the wrong way. I grabbed a perk that made me throw two cards at once but double my reload time. Then took one that reduced reload speed... which should have helped. Instead, it made reloading take 30 seconds. Took another, and now I was shuffling my deck for almost a full minute. Wild. It’s fun when perks break the game in your favor, but not when they feel bugged or contradictory like this. Definitely something for the devs to look into. I’m shelving it for now, but the core’s solid. Hoping for updates—would love to come back once those rough edges are smoothed out.

Game is a very short experience that i could recommend for anyone looking for a short little rouge-like experience. The combat is a tiny bit janky, the frames are locked to 30, and the ANTE system inst explained well, but for a probably first game developer/team, its an enjoyable little experience that took me to the end. Unfortunately the end was bugged for me and wouldn't let me proceed with letting me hit the last server to win. Even that though, i would still recommend this game to people, especially since its free.
Game is fun but broken. The gameplay loop, much like real-life gambling in a casion, is pure challenge but pure dopamine and refuses to get stale. The rougelike elements works for a small game. Unfortunately, the game has quite a number of issues, such as enemies getting stuck in place, controls not being responsive, the options being lackluster (no graphical settings, no fullscreen toggle, a singular volume bar, and all options are ONLY accessible after the game has started; not from the main menu... and they don't save if the game is closed). Most notably, the final boss fight is bugged and unbeatable. Definitely a fun game, but it sucks that you have to close the gameplay loop yourself ... the experience could be way better but unfortunately, this game will probably never be updated :(
bad performance, only 2 enemies super boring very quick

Fun little game, tried a few builds and messed around a little just wish it was longer or had an endless mode
Fun and genuinely good game but has poor performances when i get a damage up power up, had fun tho ! I had a sort of bug the first game too ? only had twos idk what it was. even if I encountered some things like that, the game is fun and good ! Suggestions: -auto pickup of chips ? the hitbox is kinda weird to pick them all up Some better handling with controls, camera lagged a bit. In conclusion the game is really cool and I hope that it'll get even better !
Muy buen roguelike, bastante divertido una vez te haces con las mecánicas, Hago en falta una opción para registrar y compartir los tiempos de finalización, eso le daría más rejugabilidad y un componente social. A very good roguelike, quite fun once you get the hang of the mechanics. I miss an option to record and share completion times, that would give it more replayability and a social component.
