DOSMan: Space Aliens in Space!

“I want shorter games with worse graphics made by people who are paid more to work less and I’m not kidding" This is an incredible indie game and part of The graphics are vibrant, the performance is excellent, and I believe the developers rolled their own engine, because in a world of choppy Unity Engine games, this one's install size is a scant 80 megabytes. The sound design is very charming, and the varied weapons give you just enough ammo to make sure you're always prepared, if you're willing to experiment with what you're given. There's also just enough of a plot scattered among the levels to push you forward. Don't expect a long game, don't expect incredible AI logic (they can pile up on each other) but I'm happy to say that what you DO get is a visually vibrant throwback on an engine I hope we see used much, much more in the future.

Worth a play

Nice and short boomer shooter style FPS. I enjoyed the retro throwback, reminds me of Blake Stone.
