Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

UPDATE: I feel like i was a bit too harsh (and a bit unclear) in my original review. I wouldn't say the content needs to justify the price of a game, but when it comes down to it I did feel like 3 dollars is asking for a bit much for what I got. my main issue was that the game felt very shallow, when I said "sct skin" I didn't mean sprites were ripped off sct, I meant that the art style feels uninspired- after seeing it for the past 7 years it feels same-y, I mentioned the reuse of ideas like the monkey, the same beachy level design and same "get 3 objectives to win" finish line. "sct skin" refers to the style sct is drawn in/set in I appreciate the new content you added, it really shows that you do care, and you have a great track record of listening to fans when it comes to it but I wish you tried to break out of your formula a bit, the idea and the goal is to make games you love and not games people want you to make, but I wish you tried new stuff . games like the Dream tower and Shadow trick are a great direction for more creative projects. but even if you work on sequels like sct3 or slime lab, try to put a new spin on it. you don't have to stick to the same ideas like "each cat has a different ability" etc. - break the rules and show why each game is different than the others ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- neutronized, i'm a long time player of your games, i'm happy you're giving steam and pc gaming a chance but this is a 30 minute game your mobile games are longer, and has more replay value and they are free, i cant really justify 3 dollars for this there's not a lot of innovation regarding the gameplay, too. its a flash game with sct's skin -of course the throwing ball monkey had to appear here too! and collecting 3 items per level is the only thing keeping this game from being 10 minute long, and the game is half-polished generally (and a bit more love could've been shown to the steam description) I at least hope this proved to you that you have a market on pc, so you can grow out of the mobile game toxic market. if it was any other developer i wouldve given a negative review but i know your resume of games and i believe you can make better than this for 3 dollars

A very short and sweet platformer with a focus on finding hidden treasures in the level. Find all of the gems to unlock a secret ending! Overall I liked this game despite it being a short experience. You get what you pay for, and it's an absolute steal when it's on sale. My only real criticism is that there should be some sort of indicator which levels you've found hidden collectables in on the level select screen.
While it only takes 30 minutes to 100% the achievements, It's fun and cute and fine to pick up on a sale.
A Lovely Littel Gem Hunting Game
Since this is a short game, I'm gonna write a short review. This game is just lovely. It's the definition of short and sweet. You play a little pirate with a shovel. Your goal ist to platform your way to the end while trying to collect gems and find secrets. The visuals are cute, the music is calm and fitting and the difficulty leans more towards the easier side. There are 15 levels to complete and you can finish and 100% the game in about an hour (took me around 50 mins). The price of 3 bucks is also alright in my opinion. Where I live, you cant even get a frozen pizza for that price. So it seems fair. There you have it. Its a cute and short platform, for little money. A perfect game for in between or when you are waiting for other games to load. :) If you've made it this far, then thanks for reading! :) I hope you have a wonderfull day! Cheers!
A nice cute short game with fun visuals and polished gameplay, feels like a twist on Shovel Knight where the shovel is a much more central part of the game not just a clever weapon. I do wish the grounded attack was a little quicker, for most of combat I ended up using the jump attack since it came out way faster, but other than that I really have no complaints. An hour of gameplay feels pretty fair for the price and I loved the unique treasure map mechanics, great stuff!
I really like this game. It might be short but I think it's definitely worth the price for this fun and happy chunky pixel game. I'm looking forward to seeing more Steam games from the dev in the future.
So short, it should be free says it has 15 levels but considering previous games from this dev, the levels should be long right? nope. for comparison you can buy both Toree games for less and get more play time and still have money left for a third game if you liked this game, just play the mobile games from the same dev, they're free, longer and better. Air attack has i-frames so you can short hop and spam it to become invincible Literally no replay value whatsoever, i dawdled around and still beat this with every gem in 30 minutes I bought this game mainly to support the dev but that doesn't mean i will hold back in my review, hopefully it gets an update where it gets more content and maybe a new playstyle for your character
tiny, but fun!
This game was short, but sweet. As a technically recent fan of Neutronized's work (been following them since about 2022), though I've gone back to their previous games from the Flash era, I find this game to be enjoyable in spite of its simplicity, which makes sense as this game also got a mobile release. Shovel Pirate is an incredibly short game, as you might tell from the time it took me to beat it, but its charming and simple platforming and low price make up for it, in my opinion. I hope that this game is the first step to get more Neutronized games on Steam. That'd be very poggers.
I feel like there isn't enough content in this game to justify paying for it. There are only 15 levels and not even a boss at the end, it just takes you directly to the ending screen after the last level. The shovel is a neat novelty at first but is really just a generic attack worsened by the delay of hitting an enemy because the shovel gets stuck in the ground for a brief moment. The 3 diamonds in each level are fun to get to but I'm not a big fan of the secret collectible in each level, specifically the fact that the map doesn't give you a hint as to where it is. It kinda makes me end up questioning the usefulness of the map in the first place, since you'll most likely end up finding most of the diamonds while just digging up everything to look for the secret collectible in each level. This game isn't all bad, it is still some enjoyable platforming, but I would recommend saving your money for a game with much more content in it.
