Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993 and 1994, the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM + DOOM II are available as a combined product.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Yeah, it's fantastic. You know what it is. Two of the most pivotal videogames ever developed, there's very little wrong with DOOM and DOOM II. That being said, this entire package has some nasty blemishes. Master Levels for DOOM II is a mega-wad pack with very little going for it. While levels present fine ideas, many are woefully undercooked. They border on sadistic with how difficult they get at points and I don't blame anyone for turning on a cheat or two during it, I know I did. Final DOOM is weird. While EVILUTION and PLUTONIA are fun, the entire package is way too long. Pacing is important for a DOOM game, there can't be much downtime, but you can't bog the player down with 60+ levels and expect them to take it on the chin. No Rest for The Living, Sigil 1/2 and Legacy of Rust are absolute bangers and the best classic DOOM commercial releases since DOOM II. They are full of well-executed ideas that make it sad when it's all said and done. I found myself down as I closed the game before writing this review. If you're on the fence about buying it, here's my final take away: not everything here is perfect, some of it is abysmal, but the stuff that hits REALLY hits. You may not find this kind of hype in any other FPS games this old. Check it out! p.s. Nightdive did a fantastic job with this port and it's the best way to play the original games outside of GZDOOM.
I didn't realize just how much content I was gonna get from the base game here, but even though I'm still playing through TNT, this is actually just required gaming. Like, if you have a steam library this NEEDS to be in it.

It's classic Doom and has fun co-op. What more can you ask?
Note : I have played well over that time on other consoles and on the PC, and I'm learning how to make Doom Wads at this very moment. So don't trust my 2.6 hours on this account. DOOM. Doom isn't just a game, it's a legacy for the whole gaming community and even a gift to modders since its code is open for people to mod it AND publish WADs with enough modifications on it to be legally distinguished. 100/10 game that also hasn't become janky and probably feels exactly just as good since its original release, which is saying A LOT for a game released in 1993. Only VERY FEW games can have this long of a lasting impact (like super Mario 64 for 3D platforming mechanics, and even there the camera wasn't perfected yet). So yeah, I'd say if you pick up Doom (and you should) and start playing without minding the pixel art (which by the way is 200 times more fashionable and stylish than badly rendered graphics), if you do that, then you'll realize : it's actually a fun game. The fun factor hasn't been altered by time AT ALL, which is... kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miraculous for a game this old that was pseudo-3D and FPS. Also, hi, Todd Howard. Have a nice day, I guess. Do not reply to this though.
