The definitive version of the iconic game series. Night Dive does excellent work and this may be their best project yet. I have enjoyed the DOOM games since I was a kid and I do not see myself ever stopping.

ngl, i didnt play much but i ca say that this is js such a good game, i love the musing and the old style that the game and that it´s a first-person shooter, i also love that the people that you have to fight are not only normal persons but there s a lot of enemies. I really racommand it

10/10. There is a reason these games still have one of the most active, passionate communities on the planet over thirty years later. The core movement, level design, and weapon feedback of classic Doom are fundamentally perfect. But what makes these games a permanent install on my PC is the modding scene. If you are only playing vanilla, you are barely scratching the surface. Between source ports like GZDoom and the sheer infinity of community-made WADs, total conversions, and gameplay overhauls (like Brutal Doom), the replayability is literally endless. The new integrated "DOOM + DOOM II" release on Steam is a fantastic modern way to enjoy them, but the true magic will always lie in the hands of the PC modding community. Pros: + Flawless, timeless design and lightning-fast movement. + An absolutely unmatched modding community with thousands of free, high-quality custom campaigns. + Runs flawlessly on literally any hardware, including the Steam Deck. Cons: - None. It is gaming royalty.
