Domino House

[i]Domino House[/i] is a dope little point and click type puzzle game with seemingly endless puzzles and secrets! Get a massive dopamine hit as you solve the next puzzle. There's so many puzzles to solve and they can be quite difficult but the answers to them are all contained within the game, written along walls or displayed in some esoteric way. Be prepared to keep a notepad on hand... or use your phone's camera like I did. If you get stuck on a single puzzle it's probably a good idea to go somewhere else and come back to it later with a refreshed brain. The types of puzzles you'll come across can include hidden-object type discovery, pressing buttons in the right order, memory puzzles, navigating characters around obstacles, matching items with their environments, and replaying musical notes, amongst others. The artstyle is really nice in its abstract presentation. [i]Domino House[/i] initially starts off all cute and innocent but later reveals its more unsettling adult themes as you delve deeper into the game. A charming little point n click. The puzzles were juuuust challenging enough to keep me experimenting. But Everything felt fair, and I never felt cheated when a solution finally clicked. The difficulty curve comes more from your own eye missing something, rather than anything becoming more obtuse. I really loved the art, and general oddity of it all. Definitely recommended for a few hour of head scratching fun.

Disclaimer: I know the devs and did some voluntary unpaid localisation for this game Amazing small cute abstract puzzle adventure by a small group of great gamedevs. A charming spin on the classic "escape the room" games from the flash era. I got confused at some points, but it generally rides the line very well of having you confused and wondering but still making progress, and the music and art are very immersive. It's not a long game, but what it has is really worth it for the asking price.

It's so well crafted and interesting. The puzzles are simple but are still challenging.

This game is brilliant, the puzzles are amazingly well thought out and I really had a difficult time figuring some of them out. I think this game is definitely something that people who enjoy escape rooms would enjoy playing. It gives you a similar feeling of success. I think that the music was perfect. But would warn about some of the artwork as it could be a bit triggering.

★★★★★ - 5 out of 5 Stars This is SUCH a cute, spooky little puzzle game. I originally played the demo when it came out, and I loved the entire aesthetic of it. It's challenging and really makes you think in order to solve the puzzles. It took me about 2.8 hours to beat, and I felt that was good, considering the price isn't that much. I LOVE the art style, and that it doesn't try too hard to be scary. The dude in the window made me worried, but when he smiled, I knew the tone of the game was more friendly than sinister (though I do love horror games!). The puzzles are NOT super easy! Some of them you really have to ponder over, and I got stumped a few times! This would be such a fun game to play at Halloween specifically, though I played it in April and it was still really fun and enjoyable. It reminds me a lot of Tim Burton. Highly recommend for people who like that style and puzzles and I hope to see more from these devs in the future!
