A simple Worms-style gameplay, at a rock-bottom price. Could have used more polish. For example, the functions of the two action-types are not explained. There are no golf clubs to select, nor directions to aim. The mechanics of obsticles, wind speeds, and ability-skills are not explained. The system of meta-game unlocks are not explained. Also, I am very annoyed that the xbox-style gamepad controller doesn't work. If you have the patience to look past the short-comings, then I think there is a golf-campaign to be explored. You will be limited to only one club, only hitting the ball straight ahead, and a having to learn as you go. Maybe you can even get your controller working with it. Dog Gone Golfing uses the Game Maker game engine. I tried playing this on an Ubuntu 18.10 system. I bet the designer had a lot of fun playing this game, but he seems to have had trouble figuring out how to share his experience with new players. I also had a problem with the achievements. I don't think they are working. Update fto review aafter playing a few hours for card-drops... I can see how this might be enjoyable for couch competition with friends. The simplicity of the controls lends itself to effortless entertainment, that would be compatible with heavy drinking. You might consider picking this up at an inexpensive sale price, if you have a bunch of controllers and have a bro-party planned.

★★★☆☆☆ ６月の大型アップデートで８人対戦対応になった？！ 対戦といっても、オフラインで１ＰＣ共有/分割画面。つまり、ＵＳＢに最大８個のパッドを接続するわけだが、そんな大家族でパッド８個もある家ってそもそもどうなんですかね？世界中にどれぐらいいるんですかね？ それとも友達とか家族とか呼んでのパーティー用か？コロナウィルスのこのご時世に密？ここの開発者はいったい何考えてるのか。 まぁアップデートのことは置いといて・・・、 実は数年前に少し遊んでは感動するような面白さがあったわけでもなかった記憶だけが残ってる。それでレビューで薦めれるわけでもないので放置してたわけです。が、トレカも対応してPvPできるとなってはちょっとやってみようかと思って起動したわけです。それで実際にパッドをUSBに入れてみるとキーボードは使えなくなりました笑。つまり最低でもパッドが２つ以上必要になります。実際はアケコンとSFCパッドをさして両方とも反応はよかったです。起動確認のワンラウンドプレイ。それにおいて気が付いたこと、これゴルフじゃない笑。ゴルフのルールが適用されてません。見た目はゴルフですけど、子供でも遊べるような内容かな。 良い点： テクノBGMが聞きやすい。 ワンショットで入ると爽快。 興味ある人は１００円以下のセールになったら買ってもいいかな。 定価５２０円は現在のコンテンツ内容だと高い。 オンライン対戦対応するか、一人でももっと遊べるようなやり込めるアップデートの方が需要が高いじゃないだろうか。 自分はそう思いました。

The devs gave me a key as a thank-you for helping with bug testing on their most recent game. They didn't ask me to review it, but it turned out to be super cute, so I wanted to. This is one of those goofy little gems that make you smile when you discover it. It's just a fun, simple, cute game to wind down the night or fart around for a while. Extra charm points for the fact that Lady Bird and Tyson are the devs' real-life dogs! Make these star puppers happy. Play their game. They built it with their very own paws. Devs were just thumb puppets.

I bought this game as a joke and quickly realized how fun it is. It's worth buying it on sale, at least to support the devs
