Dodgeball Academia

Just a ton of fun. Has a very arcadey feeling: easy to learn and fun to master. Story is engaging, I really enjoy the animations and little touch-ups too. It's a game with a lot of heart. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I had fun with this game. It features a sport not really explored in video games, it is fun and entertaining. Maybe a little too grindy, and the story kind of average, but with good characters, and good gameplay. As a final point, it has a lot of room for improvement if a sequel is released.

É um jogo com muita personalidade e originalidade, uma mistura interessante de Inazuma Eleven e Pokemon. Se for pra colocar um defeito, diria que é o mesmo da saga pokemon como um todo, chega um ponto que batalhar contra qualquer random enquanto você tá explorando começa a ficar chato.

I picked this up after really enjoying Pocket Trap's Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo and this game delivers on a lot of the charm and clever writing found in Pipistrello. The game mechanically feels like an homage to classic Mario sports RPGs on the Game Boy, with light RPG mechanics and a fun dodgeball core. The story sags at points and the dodgeball can get a little repetitive, but the writing and the compelling characters kept me engaged- I would recommend picking this up if you are looking for a light action RPG with a lighthearted story and I enjoyed the characters enough that I hope they consider making a second game in the series. At the time of this review, the game is rated as Playable for Steam deck, but I had zero issues- plays great on Deck!

A charming, over-the-top sports RPG that absolutely nails the vibe Dodgeball Academia is one of those games that grabs you with its style and keeps you hooked with its heart. The world is bright, the characters are wonderfully expressive, and the whole thing feels like a Saturday-morning cartoon brought to life. Combat is fast, punchy, and surprisingly strategic, and every new ability or teammate adds a fresh twist that keeps battles exciting. What really sold me is the personality packed into every corner of the game. The writing is playful, the animations are full of energy, and the soundtrack ties it all together with a perfect “schoolyard adventure” feel. It’s the kind of game that just makes you smile while you play. If you’re into sports RPGs, quirky stories, or anything with a big dose of charm, this one’s an easy recommendation. A total delight from start to finish

Dodgeball Academia es toda una experiencia, en el buen sentido, es un excelente juego, muy divertido y entretenido, si estás pensando en comprártelo, HAZLO! te juro que no te vas a arrepentir, y si te arrepientes... no ns xd
