Do not feed the monkeys is a 2D game where you watch people through cameras on your pc without their consent while managing your health money and energy. This game is addicting as hell and the gameplay loop never gets old The game tries in some aspects to be as realistic as possible so for example since you live in an apartment you sometimes will hear your neighbors coughing or hear crickets at night and sometimes your neighbor will come asking for money and you will have to also pay rent from time to time and the music is 90s music that is heard from the tv of your neighbors next door and they are really good and some are music from other games like fnaf. All of this comes together to create a level of immersion that I haven't experienced in a long time. I literally forgot I was playing a game sometimes The art is also very unique. It pixel with high resolution and basic coloring which gives the game a kind of a realistic vibe but still a little cartoonish. I dont how to explain it's just really good and unique too The story follows you as an unnamed protagonist who has been accepted to a group that "observes monkey in their natural habitat" which if you didn't realize means spying on human in their homes and when you start the game you only have 4 cameras but that number increases as you play and let me tell you the amount of cameras in this game is absurd and each and every single one of them has its own unique story and you can interact with each person in each camera to achieve a different endings. Do you realize what I just said that's hundreds of possibilities in each playthrough. One time you will be helping a child from their abusive parents and another time you will be sending beer to an alcoholic's which will lead to her dying in an accident or you can inspire Adolf Hitler to return to war. yeah you can do that or not. Your choice The replayability of this game is insane I have done 5 playthrough and still seeing new cameras appear and am still discovering new interactions and secrets. This game is absolutely addicting and I love it for that 10 out of 10

Unfortunately, I only recently found out that the publisher is based in the terrorist state of russia. Do not buy this game if you do not want to support terrorists.

Didn't expect this game to emotionally impact me the way it did even though I knew it was dystopian. Great replay value too. Overall definitely recommend

剧情不错，但是玩法很糟心。时间太赶了，根本来不及享受剧情。一轮是16天，不仅要解锁20多个镜头，还要赚钱、吃饭、买菜、被邻居骚扰，时间无法暂停，只能重复看剧情，有时候多个事件会同步发生，会错过不少剧情。 根本没法专心推理，一直被打断。

This game pictured a dystopian world that feels deeply connected to our daily life and makes us think. Economic and political matters have become worse and worse since 2018, the year this game got published. Not to mention immoral sciences, environmental degradation, and all these other issues covered in the game. I wonder whether, many years from now, this will become the new normalcy. Gets me worried.
