DnD Adventure: Wizard's Choice

it's fine, but more of a visual novel than a choose your own adventure game. probably worth it for 6 bucks

I was hooked from the first page! A great experience, though limited. At a certain point, there is only one direction the story can take and it feels like the reader is railroaded onto a single "correct" path and that pretty much ends any re-playability. However, the story is fantastic and you really do feel like it's being made right in front of you.... once.

Decent writing, good narrative, the choices keep you engaged. The text gives you plenty to consider on each choice and you need to use your judgement to pick a good one, and they mostly result in a resource trade-off (between mana, health and morality) and a slightly different path towards the same goal. One gripe I had was the frequent use of damsels and/or sex scenes.

Pros: Good SoundTrack Excellent story with suspense, good twists, and some good humor on occasions. Replayable. Cons: I don't really have any :P

Maan, this brings back good memories! While it's not a TRUE Choose-Your-Own-Adventure, the writing keeps you pretty hooked! What I appreciate the most about Delight Games, the makers of this series, is that they encourage you to make the most sensible choice with the limited resources at your disposal. Even though the stories have pretty much one ending (two if you count death), it's the way to get towards that ending that spices up the narrative and the immersion.

A nice game, even though replaying one chapter several times might get annoying because of all "continue" buttons and scrolling. 6/10

A good story, gripping, with good plot twists. If you don't pay attention, the ending is stranger than it seems. 7/10 Would play again

This reminds me of Sugar Boo Adventureland - if anyone here is old enough to remember that game. Its fun, its fast paced and unexpected, but does not require heavy graphics cards and such like a full combat/story RPG. I enjoy it, a relaxing romp through an adventure.
