It’s a cute concept and fun for a few hours, but it doesn’t have much depth. The whole game is built around making fun of bad DLC practices, and that joke actually works alright. Unlocking basic things like jumping, sound, or pausing with in game “DLC” is funny at first and works well as a gimmick. The platforming itself is very simple and mostly just there to support the joke. Once you’ve seen how the system works, there aren’t many surprises left. Levels are short, challenge is light, and replay value is pretty limited. I’d recommend it if you find it on sale. It’s an enjoyable little game.

It's worth its price, though notably the Live Freemium or Die update alone makes it worth. Instead of being just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's an actual game that manages to satirize the rampant consumerism of DLC practices (more relevant now than even back then) without falling into the trappings of the case, like not knowing what you're talking about. Really wish there was an update for basic qol options like some additional languages though; game's more than 10 years old and now more than ever is the perfect time to play it.

Great little indie game

goofy fun little game

This game is goofy, but very clever. If you want a short and easy game and like collecting coins, this game is probably for you. It took me around 2 hours to get both true endings.
