Larin picked my Interest with this Game. And Baldurs Gate 3 Showed us they are the Best. So whatever Larian makes next: Buy it!!!
Tarquin is a little b whomst can go up the A!
8.1/10 well I have been meaning to play this game ever since it came out. In fact I started a playthrough the first year with my brother and we played for over 20 hrs cooperatively -on my GOG account -before he got tired of it and quit. His biggest complaint was (besides our fighting - typical brother quarrelling) that it was hard to follow the story when I am running around reading things and advancing the story, and he is doing the same. I shrugged it off and waited for a couple years and then tried to play with my son. I bought the game again on steam (I don't regret paying for it 2x one little bit. I love a good D&D type dungeon crawler.), but again my son only played a few hrs and he said the same thing. That he misses too much with multiple people playing and he can't get immersed in it. *SIGH So after waiting another year here I am, soloing another terrific game. Man this would be good with some friends that actually wanted to play it, but I am enjoying it by myself regardless. It's just a game I throw on for a couple of hours when I want to go smack something and maybe find a new piece of armour. I'm taking my time and enjoying it. I figured I would beat this before buying Baldur's Gate 3 since I already own this... No regrets, just wish my brethren had a backbone and the proclavity to finish what they start! (okay so I was just as likely to stab my brother in the back anyway as he can be really annoying)....so yeah solo it is!

I played both Divinity 1+2 and Baldurs Gate 3 and let me tell you something Larian games are unpolished diamonds, and they just dont know how to polish stuff Please ffs hire proper UI/UX people for Divinity 3 Their obssesion with coop play makes everything from party control to inventory management slog that just sucks the fun out of their games. Did i have fun playing those games? Yes. Could it be infinitly better if it was made by devs who actually played any other RPG before? Totaly, but its just not happening. Trilion different ways to complete quests also mean Gadzilion ways things can go wrong from bugs to failing. Absolute nightmare for completionist because one wrong conversation or wandering into zone you re not supposed to will ruin your entire playthrough. I suppose the game gets decent after you finish it 10x or something, honestly have no idea.
