DIVE or DIE - Children of Rain

Like Dave the Diver and Darkest Dungeon had a baby...

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game. Brought me back to a couple flash games I played and Darkest Dungeon. Managing a town of survivors and resources with events is always fun, and the underwater gameplay was exciting, rewarding, and unsettling! I only played on normal, so I honestly didn't encounter too much of the true difficulty that I know is there if I run it back. Art is nice; really helps create the world. Story is cryptic, Eldritch horror stuff; leaves you guessing at a couple things too. I happily recommend this game.

Awesome ambiance and almost a masterpiece of game design. Everything works, everything is learned through trial and error, progression is satisfying and rewarding. You start by being terrified of everything then you become experienced, you actually are rewarded for getting better, planning better, knowing the map better and generally learning how things work. The first time you encounter a new creature it feels like an unsurmountable threat, the 5th time, you know how to survive it, The 20th time you're running circles around it, styling on it and flexing your experience on its eldritch face. The problem is the last third of the run. After the Crimson Basin, everything feels rushed and half done. The Graveyard is cool but lacks things to do, and then the 3 zones after that are absolute jokes and you guys know it. Still had a blast but it feels like you had a deadline to meet and didn't totally finish your game.

I think this game is a gem. It's spooky, but not too scary and It's difficult, but it never feels impossible. Fun gameplay balanced out by punishing settlement management, all with an impending timer to keep things tense and each dive important. I think roguelike folks will get a kick out of some of these mechanics, but ultimately progression in this game scales with your own knowledge. Embrace the rain! Dive or Die!

游戏性还是可以的，有点类似暗黑地牢。一开始应该普通难度开局，熟悉下地图，什么地方能获取什么物资，以免被deadline追得太紧。 ———————————— 成功治好了我的电子阳痿，相当不错的游戏。一开始会觉得氧气/背包都不够，实际上随着获得铁肺人物，人物等级上升，携带氧气瓶，做了几个装备升级，上一下buff后，氧气和背包空间简直充裕，400+的氧气，20+负重，非常宽裕。 第一个档只剩17天，只找到了4个雕像，估计是要寄了，慢慢摸索地图和资源分布太重要了，误打误撞找到了第四个圣像，第三个在哪都还不知道。

疯狂报错闪退，每次进图出图都有概率直接报错. 在我目前游玩的20分钟内，开局第一次下潜就卡退了3次，紧接着第二次下潜回来时卡退一次，第三次下潜卡退两次 另外就是游戏的字符读取顺序问题，我实在不理解为什么会先显示口口口再显示正常字符，就好像每次显示文字都要读取一遍字符库一样 最后就是数值问题，说实话我看到那个造成的所有伤害翻倍的时候就有感觉了。直到被怪两口咬死 升级带来的增益非常高，同时游戏又有各种秒杀怪，导致你玩起来又厉害又不厉害的。厉害在你可以靠堆血硬钢怪物，但是同时就算你再怎么强也会被区域里的特殊怪秒杀。

很好玩但是感觉目前内容还是不够多，不能爽玩
