Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you’re willing to overlook the pre millennium graphics, unintuitive UI, many bugs including disappearing/reappearing ship and planets, and vertical learning curve there is probably a great game lurking in here. Unfortunately, “life is short”, as the saying goes! ———— AFTER HAVING FOUND A LOT MORE TIME TO LEARN THE GAME ———— It’s growing on me. Don’t like the pirates. Even if you put in the option of very few you still get spammed with lots of them. I now turn them off. Much better for it. Pretty epic in scope. I like the resource gathering and exploring. I’d like the ships to move around when in combat.

This game. Some people enjoy Stellaris. After work I'd much rather play this. First, its very in depth. You build a ship, you see it coming out of your spaceport. You build a research station, you see your civilian freighters bringing the supplies it needs. This game is at its core, a simulation. It has some of the most powerful automation tools in the genre. You feel like an emperor only making high level decisions, but if you want you can make that planet build say more troops. Unlike Stellaris/Endless Space 2 while the game has events they are not as big of a focus. As a real time game, I find myself pausing alot as if it was turn based so I can read all the pop ups. This game does require some investment, much like Shadow Empire, prepare to not only read the manual and online guides, I'd reccommend watching some Let's Play videos on the youtube. Because its different from say Master Of Orion, it probably wont click at first. Pirates are easily the most dangerous in the genre as well. You cannot defeat them until around the mid game, instead you build your fleet of defense escorts to hold them back or pay them off when you can. It sounds irritating, but Pirates in this game are meant to be the gatekeepers to the mid game. Combat is exceptional, some of the best in the genre. Its not quite Sword of the Stars, but its the next best thing. You've got fleets, you can build your ships based on components, you choose roles in a fleet, you watch them fight. This is a primary draw, and I do not understand how people can enjoy Stellaris or Endless Space 2 so called 'combat'. Where the game is weakest is Empires. You can't make your own, you can rename them, and choose what government they are, but Galciv or Stellaris style roleplay isn't possible here. Think Endless Space 2ish. This game may have launched in a poor state, but as of right now with all of the DLC, I'd say its near the top of the genre. Anyone who complains about bugs, doesn't enjoy the genre. I find this game to have less bugs than Galciv 4 and Endless Space 2.

Super gra!
Excellent 4X, bien structuré, ce n'est pas un triple A mais j'ai beaucoup de plaisir a y jouer. J'aimerai une version française
English: The game is excellent, it's really good, however, it has many bugs that prevent you from having a good experience. This game is incredible in terms of management. What I don't understand is why it's only in English and not in other languages like French, Spanish, Japanese... to reach more people. Anyway, is the game worth it? Absolutely YES. Personally, I like this game more than Stellaris because it feels more "realistic".
