Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I'm a big fan of Stellaris and this game is really fun once you understand the interface and how everything works in general. Very refreshing. PS: soundtrack sucks, I recommend subscribing to the one in the workshop. EDIT: I forgot to add the graphics and the SFX is outdated, the way the ships look and sound is not good at all compared to other space games.
Офигенная глобальная космическая стратегия! Хорошо играется особенно с русификаторм в котором большая часть переведена!

I will change this review to positive when they add the ability to queue orders. Should have been included in the game from day 1. Playing manually was a large part of more advanced play in Distant Worlds: universe, which I played over 800 hours on. This game was missing some major parts from the first game. and two years later, its still not there.
Disabling the automation is the best way to get into this game because it will force you to experiment and learn the systems.
Distant Worlds 2 is the second installment of the series. A highly configurable Real Time Strategy game set in a galaxy of strife. Explore, Exploit and Expand your empire as you adventure through unknown systems. What I like The game allows for near infinite configurations. Size of galaxy, distribution of star systems, agression of other races, cost of research and much much more. It is very satisfying to see your empire grow from humble beginnings to a vast empire spanning many star systems and vast armadas projecting your power. The game allows for high use of automation to almost none. You can set it to "Rule in absence" and go AFK, or manage every detail. Designing ship classes, setting colony policies and running your spy network. It is all configurable. What I dont like Only singleplayer. This is more of a whish than a gripe. I whish I was able to enjoy the game with others. Game uses a lot of memory/cores. In large games with many systems and a large galaxy, performance can be a bit of a problem. To solve this, simply play smaller galaxies with fewer advisaries.
Amazing Game. Ignore the mixed reviews. This game is a Grand Strategy Simulator
Excellent Game.
That's great! Compared to the beta version and the official version just came out, the three DLC is really refreshing. The series of events introduced by Shakturi's return and the sense of impending doom give the game a sense of budget in the early and middle stages, while the new battleship model and the new universe creatures allow us to see the infinite potential of the distant world 2 different from the generation. The downside is that playing a game with such a detailed economy is bound to put a strain on the computer hardware, even with 32 gigabytes or even 64 gigabytes of memory to play a 1,000-2,000 star system. I would rather reduce the rigor in exchange for a smoother experience and richer game content. We strongly request more ship models for small, medium and large civilian ships (colonial, mining, cargo) to distinguish between technological changes, and we also hope that improved models of warships can also change or even customize the appearance on the basis of the original, we also hope that there are more unique outer space creatures!
Got of to a rough start but is getting better with every update
Very good strategy game. Doesn't try and script the outcomes of your choices, which makes it a superior game, but makes the difficulty rather unpredictable. Other people complain about the automation, but the automation works well, and it's well designed, especially if you can learn by watching others use it.
