Great rogue-like with a fantastic atmosphere. The story is good too, with cool events. Feels very immersive. Overall, a very fun game
Very interesting concept, too bad it wasn't more successful and wasn't developed further. The genre is rogue-like but the comparisons to FTL stop there since, in this game, combat is about tactically managing a small fleet rather than a single ship's inner functions. Permadeath is not a thing, but it will be engaging enough for most people anyway and keep them interested in making sure not to lose any of their ships, which might not be that easy all the way till the end. On the downside are only things I wish this game had and aren't there. Can't ask too much of small studios. though, that's a good sign that they managed to deliver a good enough formula that it leaves you wanting for more.
Finally got to play this and I have to say I'm disappointed. Game is very shallow and as lover of FTL the reviews are all bonkers...they keep mentioning FTL but this game has nothing to do with it. All that's similar between them is that you have permadeath and a sector map you have to rush through...so yeah. The combat is RTS-lite, but its so boring it's crazy. You have ship abilities that are either some passive trash like...more damage for 5 seconds LOL ...and fire a missile that explodes in an AOE....woo. The AI is a joke, they just come into range and SIT there firing at the closest ship. There seems to be no replay value at all since all abilities are boring as hell anyway and random events are either fight...or run, 90% of the time. But it's sad TBH, because the ideas are there and they have merit...a space rogue-lite with a RTS combat seems really good...the devs just need to REALLY step it up on the actual gameplay. Hope they don't give up, but this one is a solid nope from me.
Cool game (9/10) Imagine FTL and SC merging together and you will imagine this game. You will manage small fleet of spaceships equiped by weapons and auxiliary systems of your choice. Unlike FTL you don't need to bother with crew and interior systems it is more about planing how to throw most firepower and shields on battlefield while keeping some ships in 2nd line to shield the 1st line once shields will collapse. Often you might run low on supplies and some market nodes don't even sell them, there could be more content and soundtrack feels too middle-eastish to my taste but in general it's cool game with nice graphics and gameplay.
This game was kinda fun until the first time I got disabled, and my entire game was over. Yay, for not saving between missions. Also, the fact that exploring entire sectors = harder enemies is pretty dumb, I like seeing what everything is.
It is nice but unnecessary hard with bad tutorial. Still someday i must find out how the game goes on...so now it is down, maybe then it is up ...
Jedes mal eine packende Herausforderung. Macht echt Spass. :)
This is a fun little tactical rogue-like game where you start out with a handful of ships, and can purchase some more (if you can scrap up enough funds) as well as adjust the equipment on them to create a set of ships powerful enough to complete the final boss battle. It is pretty fun, with a reasonable amount of challenge and a fair amount of micro to reduce overall damage to your fleet.
Good for what it is, but the formula has been done better. Story is a bit lacklustre. Good variety of randomly generated tiles, but I don't think I'd feel compelled to replay this title, even though that's obviously the intention here. Even with as few as 4 hours to complete the game it felt like a bit of a chore near the latter half. I'd still recommend it if you wanna do 5 ship tiny fleet management rts, you can come up with some fun combos using the ship classes provided.
Super game!
