About
Amelia expected her evening to be perfectly ordinary. What she did not expect was for her best friend to hack her car and bring her against her will to the Haven, the ancient castle her family used to holiday in when she was a child.
Far for being a sentimental visit, this improbable return to the place of her childhood finds Amelia forced to take part in a game she knows nothing about: not the how, not the who, and certainly not the why... And this game just might uncover secrets her family would have rather left hidden.

The Haven is yours to roam freely and in any order you want. Search through its handcrafted rooms, find secret passages and open forbidden doors. Uncover the castle's history and that of Amelia's family on this larger-than-life, intricate playing board.
Your observation skills and a keen sense of curiosity will be the keys to truly know the Haven and uncover every last of its secrets.

Create your own strategies, organise your team, position your fighters wisely and anticipate enemy patterns in exciting tactical battles where every choice matters.
Each enemy has a unique behaviour, and learning them is the key to mastering this unique battle system at the crossroad between puzzle games and RPGs.
Defeat is not the end: explore other paths, gather your strength and establish new strategies with a myriad unique fighters and skills.

Delve into a piece of speculative fiction that questions technology, ethics, and the weight of unspoken family trauma. Investigate both the present and childhood memories to find out the truth between Amelia's kidnapping, and the true reasons behind the mysterious game she finds herself playing.

This entirely hand-drawn world comes alive to a soundtrack that blends epic orchestra and synth music, creating a unique atmosphere where ancient history meets futuristic technology.

Awesome game ! Story and dialogues are well written, the castle is interesting to explore, puzzles/combat are so clever. Thanks team for such a great video game, that deserve much more attention from players.
Another wonderful entry in the extremely specific subgenre of "Survive A Game In A Giant Complex While Uncovering The Underlying Mystery Behind It". The plot is great and unravelling the puzzle-fights feels good. My only complaint is that the trial and error of a hard fight can be tedious if it's a long walk from the nearest healing station.
I only scraped the surface of the mystery but the presentation was quite nice. I had to check and was very happy to find that the game is claimed to be fully hand drawn. The style is very appealing and holds a sort of melancholy to it. The story set in the future supplies some interesting tech concepts and ideas of what a future might hold. I didn't make it to any battles but from the trailer they look to be interesting. Very interested in hopping back into this one. My only "negative" is that during some scenes there is text over just a black screen and with all this great art I think it would benefit to put that text over an image of some sort. I recommend this if you are feeling melancholy and would like some mystery.
Compelling story and characters combined with a huge castle to explore and tactical puzzles to solve makes this game really stand out as an indie gem. The art style and the music are incredible as well. Excellent first outing from the team! Cannot wait to see what they do next.
After an intro that is simply too long starts a slog of grueling slow combat. Do you enjoy playing one hit to player = k/o games? Because that's what this turns into very quickly. Can't learn patterns when an enemy knocks you out first hit regardless of where you are on the field. And then the recharge, headless chicken backtracking trying to find a health station because you've lost maps due to losing a fight. All in all an unfun experience that punishes you for attempting to play, lacking many QoL features that would normally make this style of game fun.
What a wonderful surprise from this french studio (cocorico)! The game is visually stunning and the story is captivating. It's a pleasure to explore this mysterious castle, especially with such an incredible soundtrack! The battles are tough, but you can always get through them with a little perseverance. The strong point for me is that, unlike other games where you struggle with the combat (hello Hollow Knight!), the developers had the good idea of including an easy/story mode so you don't get stuck. It's great if, like me, you absolutely want to know how the story ends but don't want to spend a whole day on the same boss. I highly recommend it for fans of narrative-driven games and/or turn-based combat!
Some damn good scifi
