I don’t remember how I got into this house. I only know that I need to quickly find a way out. Something terrible is walking around the house and looking for me.

Not worth the asking price. This is a $1 horror game at best. Very basic gameplay, not polished. Monster moves around like a puck on ice. Get key, hide, open door - rinse repeat. I did get jump scared a couple times at least, but honestly this is not a scary game in general. If you do decide to play, here are some tips to avoid frustration - mild spoilers below: - The first key is hiding behind an object. Check the initial room thoroughly. - There are empty dressers in each room you can hide in. a) If the monster hears you, hide in a dresser immediately. b) After triggering a noise, sometimes the monster will poke into the dresser but it still cannot see you. Freaked me out at first. Just don't move. c) If the monster SEES you go into the dresser, you're dead. - Try not to knock over objects, the monster can hear it - you can tell from the audible cues if he heard it. - If the monster is chasing you and gets within 20 feet of you, you're basically dead.

Disregarding all of the trashy and negative reviews that didn't give Dissection a chance, I think the devs did a great job. The reviews are extremely over dramatic. Not every game has to be hours long and full of jumpscares, this game is simple and follows a pattern with finding items. The corpse that roams the house is terrifying, even if he isn't always chasing you. He is eerie and disturbing in his own way. Sure, nearly everyone is writing a bad review, but I don't think any of them understand the importance of smaller, simpler games. I applaud the devs for making a scary game without having to go the extra mile. Do not let negative reviews deter you, for $5 it's a steal and pretty fun.
Better than granny, support the devs! They need resources for better closets.
I got chased by a naked dude. 10/10
This game changed my life. 3 years ago, I was a nobody. I had no friends, no girlfriend, no muscles, small pecker. I had stage 4 cancer. The doctors said I had 6 months. I thought that I was done. That I had lived my life as a nobody and would die as one all the same. This was until I stumbled across Dissection on the E3 show-floor in 2019. A game with a name like Dissection just cant go under the radar. I decided to look into this game and my interest was piqued within my first glance at the cover. I was sold. Finally, after months of waiting, April 21st, 2020 arrived. I was speechless. I decided to launch this game and instantly soiled my pants. The eyes of the scary naked homeless man on the cover was enough to make my body involuntarily produce flatulence. My shaking hand guided the cursor over the "PLAY" button. I clicked. Suddenly, an overwhelming feeling of 6000 emotions flooded my feeble human vessel at once. 5980 of which were previously unknown to mankind. My blood instantly was replaced with a different liquid. Semen. All of my bones shattered moments later and were instantly replaced with a carbon based mixture of adamantium and diamond. I screamed so loud that 48 people in my neighborhood were killed from the scream alone. After recovering from the resulting 4 year coma, I spent the next 8 months in my room, playing this game. I did not sleep, I did not eat, visions of the homeless man appeared in the dark corners of my room. The skin man was transcending Dissection into the real world. At this point, Dissection had completely taken over my life. I had been glued to my gaming chair for an entire year. Not even a tear in the space time continuum could create a fraction of the power needed to remove my eyes from this god-like creation. I now spend my days teaching about how humanity as a whole is pointless if not everyone can be as talented as the leader of RandomSpin Games. Thank you, Dissection. My penis is 9 inches now.
My Steam Curator Review: "Massive escape room type game that isn't done well. Half the time you spend playing this game you are in a closet, the other half you are finding the next item then finding another closet."
