Disney Dreamlight Valley

So much fun! I love being able to friend the villians!

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a surprisingly great game. Pretty much every gameplay element is fun to interact with, and I feel like I could play all day every day and it would take a long while to get bored. In a world where it's exciting to get even 30 hours of content from a $40-50 game, Dreamlight Valley offers tons of content for it's price. I'm not much of a fan of the DLC prices, but the base game of Disney Dreamlight Valley is well worth the price. It offers a huge amount of stuff to do entirely for free, with the only paid content in-game being for some cosmetics & decorations, but with a wide assortment of cosmetics and decorations you can get for free in the game via Scrooge McDuck. Gathering materials is strangely satisfying, and rather simple, and being able to hang out and do quests with so many characters (with more being added quite consistently!) is great. I'm always going to hope and wish for more content in the game, but what they have is already well worth the price of the base game. If it isn't the peak of the Stardew Valley sort of genre, I think it comes pretty close! I would probably be up to 500 hours in this game if there hadn't been an issue with my Steam Cloud making me lose over 40 hours of progress (I don't believe it's the fault of the game that I lost any of that progress), and the frustration from that is the only reason why I stopped playing. I really recommend it to everyone to try it though! Very relaxing experience with TONS of content.

There’s is no point to multiplayer. I bought it on different consoles in order to play multiplayer but it’s so restricted there’s absolutely no point.

I especially enjoy the freedom to customize and design my village. The level of creativity is impressive, and the regular content updates continue to add even more customization possibilities. There is also a surprising amount of content and activities available. Players can farm, fish, cook, mine resources, gather materials, complete quests, and unlock new areas. Because of this variety, the gameplay rarely feels repetitive, and there is always something meaningful to work toward. The visual presentation is beautiful, with charming environments and detailed character designs. The soundtrack perfectly complements the relaxing atmosphere, creating an experience that is both comforting and immersive. The game is suitable for players of all ages, making it a great choice for Disney fans as well as anyone looking for a cozy and stress-free gaming experience. I highly recommend Disney Dreamlight Valley to anyone who enjoys relaxing games, creative customization, and the magic of Disney. Thanks to its frequent updates and expanding content, the game continues to grow and provide new reasons to return. For me, it is one of the best cozy games released in recent years.

Really fun. The gameplay loop is grindy and will get very boring after awhile. I keep coming back for the nostalgia. Honestly love the new adventure pack they are trying out. I think this opens up the avenue for more niche film franchises. HOPEFULLY STUFF LIKE TREASURE PLANET I NEED A MORPH COMPANION. There is a lot of potential here for them to make the game less boring, I suggest an underwater DLC, a Space themed one, and some fun, easy combat in an optional DLC. They have added minigames before, like the chess like game, and the now pooh sticks mini game. They could add one with lightsabers for combat, archery, swimming through rings, racing in a go cart through a city esque biome, flying....the possibilities are endless. For a Treasure Planet Adventure pack, I suggest Jim, Dr Doppler, the Captain, Mr Silver, B.E.N. the robot as characters. The companions, as I said before, can be different colors of Morph. The original pink, purple, yellow, any colors really, and a cute picture mode could be either morph spinning in the air and posing, or could turn into the Treasure Planet map that our character then catches and shows off to the camera. There are so many options for food that can be directly pulled from the movie (the mom ran an Inn that showed food many times), the Inn can be a house skin or the home for Jim and BEN, we even see Dr Dopplers house in the movie. The mini game can be flying through the air through rings or obstacles while racing a villager on a solar sail like in the movie! The biomes can be like the moon port, the mushroom like biome of the actual treasure planet planet, or like the one Jim lives on. The possibilities truly are endless. Gameloft give me a shout if you want more ideas for a fully fleshed out Treasure Planet adventure pack, I have thought about it A LOT.

Cash grabs with all the DLC's super disappointing - hits the nostalgia and the wallet pretty hard.

i love this game , i have thousands of hours on switch before switching to pc and i just love it , i also like that they have a lot of paid content, but they give so much free stuff as well, there's tons of quests even after the main story but i also enjoy playing at my pace and there's no consquence to taking my time , it also has events regularly which i love as well, its one of the coziest vibe type of games, 10/10 i do recommend.
