I just don't understand all the reviews - they seem so incredible - 'critically acclaimed' - 'I wish I could play this again for the first time', the depth and exploration of blah blah Am I missing something? It is boring AF. An elaborate point and click parading as an RPG? Damn, I am currently struggling with sunk/cost bias (15 hours in), I feel like I need to finish it or uninstall it My initial frustration aside, the idea of the fractured mind talking to itself is refreshing, on top of this, the voice acting is phenomenal, the music is also great. But.... this should have stayed a book or audiobook. TL:DR overrated pretentious timewaste
Pure gold
Pretentious mess that insists upon itself.
After 16 hours and barely started, this is probably one of my top 5 or even top 3 games ever.
Disco elysium
really good game, i've read a book before so none of the political stuff was super shocking to me but the depictions of urban decay, guillaume le million's trauma and the bond between you and your (platonic life-) partner was great
