About
Disc Golf Masters is a disc golf game made by disc golfers, for disc golfers. The studio builds it in the same factory where Latitude 64 presses its discs. If you play the sport, this is the game you have been waiting for.
Throw officially licensed discs from the brands already in your bag. Latitude 64, Discmania, Westside Discs, and Kastaplast. More brands are on the way. The same disc you bag in real life flies on your screen.
Every disc flies on its own flight characteristics. Hyzer, anhyzer, turnover, fade. Pick your angle, read the wind, and watch the disc curve the way you threw it. Miss it and you are throwing out from behind a tree, just like real life.
Take it online against players around the world, or grab friends for multiplayer up to four players. Chase the leaderboards and prove your game.
Build your player with discs, apparel, and accessories. Your bag, your look, your style on the course.
Early Access is the starting line, not the finish. We update Disc Golf Masters constantly. Check the roadmap on this page to see what is coming next. More courses, more discs, new skills, and real-life pro players joining as playable characters. We built the demo with the community all year, listened to real players, and everything we learned is in this version.
Disc Golf Masters comes from Spin Off Games, the studio behind the mobile hit Disc Golf Valley with over a million players. They are part of the House of Discs family. They play the sport. It shows.

Fun game at its core, but even as an early access product its sort of not fleshed out enough. 3 courses and like 20 discs. Online ranking system is a joke. You gain or lose ranking based on match play and the opponents ranking. There already exists a rating system in disc golf, and there is a reason its not that. Also staying connected to an online match feels rarer than someone crashing or freezing or disconnecting. Game is setup to be always online. At this moment the game simply doesn't boot for a lot of players, and if you boot into offline mode you have 0 access to the discs you have unlocked online. Pretty unacceptable to charge for a game and have it work like a free mobile game. So obvious that there is a long term plan to finish the game and then dial up the microtransactions, which just feels grimy when your base gameplay isn't even done yet. Maybe I will be surprised and when this game is finished it will feel like a real game that respects your original purchase and doesn't immediately try to churn you into a microtransaction whale. But the way its been going so far I would be surprised.
Would not recommend buying this at this moment especially at $25. Constant online needed is already annoying but the game will load with a broken inventory, so playing a game is impossible

live service game with 0 offline capabilities. Their servers have had issues that resulted in people temporarily not being able to play at all. I dont feel good paying $25 and owning nothing.
Filled with bugs and a broken rating system.
In their rush to make money, they forgot to make courses. There are only four 9-hole courses for a $25 game. And their early access roadmap shows clearly there will only be one more that you get for your money before full release. I ran out of stuff to do within the first two hours. Repeating the same courses isn't rewarding or fun either. It's also incredibly lazy to not have Steam achievements for a game like this. That would be an easy win for them with the players and a reason to unlock the discs you don't want/need. Within 30 minutes of playing the game you'll realize having more discs doesn't provide the same value it does IRL because you don't have any physical detriments and your form is perfect right out of the box.
Really fun, the best disc golf game out there as far as physics and reality go. Can't wait for them to add more courses and discs. ATM there are 3 courses and each one has several different pin/pad positions which makes for a good variety of gameplay right out of the gate. I love that they have Discmania discs! Multiplayer is also fun and entertaining although a bit busy, nobody goes in turn so lots of discs flying around, especially when trying to putt. Looking forward to more updates on this game, ive put a little over 7 hours into it.
Always online. Lost internet for a second during a solo match and the game complained and then closed itself. (Edit after 5 hours of play) Sometimes you load up the game and all of your discs are simply gone. Online matches and matchmaking are very buggy. At least 50% of the time (feels like 90%) the match simply fails to create and you get kicked back to the menu. Sometimes you get stuck on a loading screen. The only way to play solo without the tutorial guides turned on is to do the daily challenge, which gets boring fast since it's the same course for the entire day. If offline options were added and online play was smoothed out I'd be happy to change my review to positive, since the actual disc throwing is fun if you can manage to load into a match.
Fun game, needs some kinks ironed out, though. Looking at you, leaves.
As a real Disc Golf Player I can say that this game is very close to the way that disc golf actually is. I like not knowing exactly how far your disc is going to go and how its going to be affected by the wind. Adds in a layer of unknown and I'll tell you that there is that unknown in real disc golf. It's in early access right now so I can't wait until more gets added.
Not worth it in the current state at the current price. The disc mechanics are fun, but everything else is kind of broken and janky. The devs also are surprisingly silent for a game so recently in early access, so who knows if it'll be abandoned.
