Dobra zabawa, pokecam

This game is definitely worth purchasing if you are like me and like to play career mode, or custom championships. There is a lot of discussion about the racenet servers being shut down in July of 2026. This will stop all online play, as well as acheivements, but it does not stop you from playing a career, and having full access to all cars and tracks. I will say it again, if you are an ONLINE ONLY player, then this is not for you. You can play a career, which is very in depth in my opinion, and with the GOTY edition, you will get all of the tracks and cars, as well as historical scenarious and the Mcrae add on. There is SO much content here. The graphics are great, the FFB is great, each road feels right. When the dirt is dry, it can be rough and very bumpy. During or after rainfall, that dirt becomes mud, and you can feel this. Everything is sluggish and sloppy. It is brilliant. The weather is amazing. Driving on tarmac when you have small ice patches is just like real life. You run over them and will spin a bit, which can cause problems. You are constantly on the wheel in this game. Every turn, every bump, every corner, you are trying to hold on to a beast that is violently wanting to spin out one way or another. Just when you think you're doing great, you hit that little bump the wrong way, or you rear end just touches the edge which might have a rock or muddy edge.. then boom, you lose control.. maybe you can regain control, maybe not. Damage is very good, having to repair and decide what repairs you do and which ones you have to skip. Broken a headlight but the next race is in the dark? Well you know your choices. Break both headlights while driving in the dark? Choose between dropping out and trying to make it back in the dark. Career mode (to me) is the most fun. You compete and really have to watch your budget. You don't win a ton of money, however, even finishing last, you get some type of payout. Not enough to buy a new car, but perhaps enough to fix your existing beast and maybe help train your engineer just a bit more. This simulator teaches patience and humility. It's not about winning every race. It's about surviving the race and figuring out how to get your car to the next event. Sooner or later you will be able to afford another vehicle. It's just a great experience. Recently those of us who purchased GOTY edition received a full set of cars in the garage and 2.4 million credits. I've seen complaints about how this ruins career mode. There is an easy fix for this. You sell all of the cars for 0$ each except for the Lancia (they won't let you sell it or the Opel from 2001). Then you purchase an expensive car, and resell it (you'll take a loss of approximately 20%). I did this over and over until I had about 20K in the bank and one car for rallies. This allowed me to "start" a career with one car and a small amount of cash. From here you can build your career. This game in my opinion is worth the 40 Euro for the GOTY edition. If on sale, it's a no brainer.
