For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Not Worth the Asking Price. Would Consider buying if it was at 50% off or more, especially if you already like the Dark Pictures Anthology. Story is around a 4–5/10, the mechanics are probably the weakest in the series, facial animations are jarring, and some choices/deaths feel underdeveloped. IKYK It does get better around Act 4, and the running sections were actually fun, but sadly there were barely any of them.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020 :))
I just finished this one and the story was ok (not too great nor bad). The plot twist that happens in the final few episodes was definitely not expected!
I didn't predict it beforehand, but when it was revealed I just felt like "wtf why is the plot so complicated lol".
One huge positive: thanks to the new Rewind feature (similar to chapter select), you don't need to do multiple full playthroughs to clean up achievements like in previous Dark Pictures games! :)) There is still no cutscene skip, though. I also noticed they dropped the whole anthology part and just named the game "Directive 8020" lol instead of keeping the full title. Either way, I'm excited to see what's in store for us next! A decent experience overall!

I have never put a thumbs down on a game, even The Devil in Me, which I didnt enjoy because of the mechanics that made the game frustrating to play. The stealth mechanic was really bad, made the game feel more like a hassle than something i actually could enjoy. There are almost no QTEs, and the way you find information is just lame, it feels like there is no exploration. The messaging system was also bad. I think it was the games way of making dialogue between the characters, but the messaging just felt stale and didnt build any connection between you and the characters. The story actually had a lot of potential. The storyline alone was actually quite interesting, but was destroyed by the characters. I could see them writing the characters like that because of the storyline, but frankly i didnt enjoy any of them. Also the way the story was told kinda ruined the choices (altough there wasnt a lot of them) seeing someone being alive 18 hours from now kinda spoils that they cannot die in between. Sad to see Salim again and getting all the good memories from House of Ashes, only for his character to be lame. The choices felt insignificant, there were little dialogue, and the little dialogue there was didnt really feel like impacted the characters. The game just felt lifeless. They really just left everything that made these games good, and made a pile of yeah... The game feels rushed and I personally couldnt enjoy it. For the next game I hope they go back to the gameplay that worked from Until Dawn/The Quarry/House of Ashes which I really enjoyed. Wouldnt recommend buying it. Rating: 2/10
Only for people who like sneaking 80% of the time. And on top of that like unfair consequences to choices not obvious.
The game is really full of potential, it was supposed to be a pretty good game but I felt that the developers tried to do things differently in the game, differently than the other past games, it simply didn't work, in my sincere opinion, they wasted the game's potential.
Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of money... don't bother.
Also man kann fest halten.
