i realy liked this game for the concept and the design but the charecters feel clunky and unresponsive at sometimes, i know this game is in early dev but i'm just giving my opinion here, and also there is a big issue with how much money you need to buy charecters and knowing there is no real way to gain such amount to buy them (6000) because the online matchmaking is not complete yet, also PLEASE BUFF HERO
I just wanna say to Teepee Studios - in the Early access phase maybe don't give the player ONE character to play and make the other ones a Purchasable option only. I would give access to ALL 6 characters and develop new ones that they can unlock later or pay to unlock. Don't be greedy in the EA Phase. Either make people pay a couple bucks for the game and give them all 6 or give them all 6 outright and make them buy newer/cooler ones. Just my say. Probably going to end up playing this with my bros for all of an hour or two because I only have ONE character to choose. As do they. Also as an avid gamer/ "My attempt to be an honest reviewer" I couldn't help but notice that there were a lot of negative reviews with the statement "This game was released in 2018, yet we have not received an update or contact from Teepee Studios to develop/make this game better" after reviewing the forum posts "Bugs/Updates/Etc" I couldn't help but notice the truth behind this game is that the Teepee studios have not updated nor posted since Sept 25th, 2018. And yet in the community Hub you see a slew of players wanting the local game-play option to allow for AI because there is an absence of the online player base needed to supply this game with life. This game is on its last leg 2 years after release because Teepee studios has lost interest in updating the game and refuse to make contact with its player-base to try and gain steam on this again. It seems to me that Teepee studios needs to be placed on the "Dirty Dev" List for taking whatever money was vested into this game and running for the hills. It certainly doesn't seem they're taking a vested interest in their investment now. Prove me wrong Teepee studios. Shoot me a message.. Make a notable improvement.. Do SOMETHING to prove to us you're not what I'm saying you are and I'll happy switch this review around. Otherwise I would avoid downloading. These are just my observations, I can only hope I'm wrong..
This is what I've come to expect from platform fighters, except worse. Now, before everyone hits me with the "You don't like platform fighters, your opinion isn't valid" bs, my problem doesn't have anything to do with the platform fighter part of the game. In fact, just the opposite. My primary problem is that, I, on my own, with no friends, can't even get into the platform fighter part of the game. Now, I'm sure that all these wonderful people in the dev studio (woo, barely got through that with a straight face) have all the friends in the world, but there are some of us less fortunate in the "socializing" department that would like to enjoy your game against some AI. I originally downloaded this game in the hopes of making an AI match, and making an AI tournament provided I could do that. But frankly, that doesn't matter when I can't even play the game part of the game, myself. Now, all this being said, I'm going to hope that a dev sees this, realizes that my snarky comments about their glowing social life are half-jealousy, half-anger, and they'll make a decision to help me with my issue, either through a comment or an update to the game, or even it's UI. That being said, this game, according to Steam, released in 2018. It is now February of 2020, and I don't see any updates on the game in it's past, and I've yet to see any dev interaction, but I haven't been looking that hard. Here's to hoping that I'm wrong.

Sad to say, but this game is in an abandoned state due to its release schedule - it was announced weeks before Smash ultimate, leading to it being severely outshone to the point the devs have had to leave it behind. I'll keep my eye on DimVS, with every intention to help them out should TeePee come back to development, but in its current state, this is little more than a neat game to use for local multiplayer gameplay. PSSSSST hey devs! Come back, or tell me what you're working on now instead!
Best game ive ever played 10/10 come back to it ever 3 months or so
Boy oh boy is this one of the worst smash clones ever. Somehow even clunkier than ICONS. How do you top that!? Gameplay: 3/10 Dummy easy, broken, and extremely unbalanced. Combos in this game feel as stiff as it looks, and landing lag on every aerial, thus making it impossible to combo solo. The only cool thing this game has is being able to switch out 2 fighters on the fly, on paper it sounds cool, but in execution it's extremely busted. you can spam the tag mechanic rapidly and never get punished for it, thus pressure game is impossible to punish. Story/Characters: 0/10 Seriously, nothing original in terms of moveset concepts or designs. Looks worse than the animations they were based on. Graphics: 9/10 Overall: 2.5/10 Literally go play a different game, this title has no originality, essence of value, functioning gameplay, or interesting characters. DO NOT GET IT.
