First off, SOOOO much potential. I played a bit by myself to see if it was worthy of bringing a friend to play with. My friend broke his resolution and wrote a review, the support team told him how to fixed it within about an hour and we busted out a few games. Smash copy? not exactly, some characters feel like a mashup of some of them but they all have their own personalities. I would LOVE to see this game get competitive as soon as they flesh the game out a bit more. I spotted some buggs as in the character with the sword (i forgot their name) would go the opposite direction when being played and nothing could be done about it. What would i improve? personally i would clean up the menus a bit and as far as flashy stuff goes i would add a stats section to keep track of personal ratios for self improvement and MAYBE a leaderboard ~ just some ideas
Inb4 someone tries this and says its crap. IT IS 100% NECESSARY TO REMEMBER THIS IS AN EARLY ACCCESS TITLE. When I recommend this game, and say that I enjoy it, it is more about what it can become rather than what it is now. There are glaring issues now, mainly that the online servers seem very unstable and it is almost impossible to find a match (at least for me). That being said, if you love smash bros, then chances are you will love this game in the long run. The combat feels fantastic for an early stage, the animations are fluid, the game feels great with an xbox remote, and it feels like i wanted a smash bros on pc to feel. So to summarise, high potential and keep a close eye on it if you love smash bros but dont download it now expecting a good experience. Chances are that it will be a few months before the game is in decent shape.

Great fun, especially with friends! Queing up with randoms does work well though if you are a loner with no friends. Not gunna lie there are bugs but most of them aren't major. Definitely worth trying!
So whats broken: -UI is a mess sometimes it does random things regardless of whats pressed. The navigation is all over the place with the buttons sometimes going in opposite directions of what's being pressed. - Online: Disconnected 3/4 times. Although when I have managed to connect there hasn't been any problems it just seems to be the "matchmaking" The gameplay: While it does not have the roster that smash does the combat feels fun. HOWEVER after playing some more i realised there aren't many visual queues in regards to abilities "hitting", it feels like I'm randomly triggering different combos and pressing the different button combos isn't consistent. That Hiro guy is totally overpowered you can literally continously dash back and forth and the only way to counter it is with a lucky grab by lucky I mean the grab doesn't always trigger. Overall theres issues with the combat that need to be tweaked or reworked and the online and UI need a big fix too. Cool idea. Mediocre Execution.
You can play as Dark Souls, Kamina X Space Dandy X Captain Falcon, Techno Ganondorf/ Space Marine, A Property of Hate Character, Anime, and ferret.
Hey, interesting game! It looks quite nice and has a cool concept behind it. I saw one of you the day before launch at the AIE open day and played the game shortly there. I'd like to give you a few opinions and tell you of some of the bugs I came across so hopefully you can fix them. Firstly, I knew the controls going into the game, but I didn't see any screen displaying the controls for controller or keyboard, so when I first played with a friend online, he had to experiment with all the keys on his keyboard to determine which one did what. If you could include a screen on the main menu for controls or eventually allow players to make keybinds, that would be great. Secondly, combat gets to a bit of a standstill. I find that there are times where other players will try and attack and for about 5 seconds people are just attacking in one spot. If you could give light attacks a small amount of forward momentum, I think it could easily fix this. Additionally, try and allow people to chain attacks, by not locking them in for so long. I felt a little stuck in the heavy attacks and unable to move as much as I felt I should. Also, I did encounter a crash when loading into a stage whilst someone else was hosting from a quick game. I understand that the game is going to be buggy and I do want to bring that to your attention as crashes can be quite annoying for players and developers alike. In terms of UI bugs, just telling you there's UI bugs isn't going to fix them so I'll list some specifics I came across: - In the 'Wardrobe' under each loadout, when you edit any loadout and select an item, then change to another loadout by number at the top of the menu, it keeps your previous selection. A simple way around this might be creating a 'selected' tag on the currently equipped item or changing the border to make it more obvious. - Various times I have also got lost in the UI because I wasn't sure what was currently selected or what I was hovering over and had to swap to mouse. - It would also be a good idea to add in a prompt to tell the host to press start once everyone has selected their character, or to put in a countdown after characters have been selected. - A loading screen whilst the level is being loaded would be helpful to know the game hasn't just crashed. Even if it is still a black screen with perhaps the controls displayed on it, that would really be helpful to a lot of players who have perhaps just jumped in and need a refresher on the controls. I understand that it is still alpha and that it isn't necessary to have the loading screen, but these small quality of life changes will really help draw people in. Some changes I'd like to recommend later as a bit more of a polish (in other words, these are things I don't expect to see in alpha or maybe even beta): - Add a screen where you can view all the moves a character has. This might not even be too much of a whole polished idea but moreso just letting players know what they can and can't do with each character. - In the training dummy area, allow the player to maybe add or remove dummies, make it so the character can or can't fall off of the level, and perhaps show a small input tracker to show the player what the game is recognising as the current input. This last idea can really help with nailing some of the combos and knowing how precise they need to be with certain attacks as on occasion it feels as though you need to have your direction just right to perform the right kind of attack. - Private games where you can directly invite Steam friends, or if you want add an in game friends system. Good luck with development and I hope you're able to fully develop the game into a popular title! Hope the feedback was helpful!
when i start game the homescreen bugs out i cant even start a match i don't even know if the game is good or not because I can't even play it! I wish I could say something positive but I don't have much to say if you don't have those issues get the game please fix I mean seriously i can't even select anything!):
