// Dimension Drive Cool story line for a game of this type. Local COOP up to 5 people! Really neat, a small glow appears on each split screen that allows one another to know where the other's ship is at. Even cooler than that, is the ability to hyper drive over to the other players screen if A) You're in danger B) They're in danger. A super cool retro arcade game but rebirthed. Even the graphics are -- shockingly -- 4K; super high detail, albeit simple graphics... retro reborn. Excellent Game and an excellent value. <CONTROLS> [A] Switch Dimensions (jump to the other screen) [X] Fire [I was able to play with an Xbox Core Controller + an 8BitDo Pro 2.]

Clásico juego con una mecánica innovadora. Interesante
Very fun and rewarding gameplay with patience!
Hurts my brain
A surprise mind bending gem for vertical shoot em up fans. The game utilises a really innovative design which adds a genius and addictive twist to the genre. Unlike other shooters you might use to relax, this may be a bit cerebral after a mentally strenuous day at work. It takes quick thinking brain busting strategies to complete the missions in addition to requiring your traditional shoot em up / bullet hell survival skills. This is certainly a one for every fan of the genre to check out, brain ache or not!
I recommend dimension drive!... for classic shooter enthusiasts who want to get away from the terror of some other niche shmups. I like games that present an interesting challenge without being completely sadistic. Game plays and feels fine, although I don't care at all about the story or characters. I don't think the game needed the slide and rotate backwards moves. This game is only 12 short levels long, meaning there's no time to really acclimate to or master those attacks. They just became a nuisance as I fumbled for the button, frequently sliding when I meant to warp or warping when I meant to spin. This usually ends in flipping into a wall and dying on accident. Bosses were fun although they tended to stay stationary and not really act aggressively, just spew bullets. Game also looked pretty decent, except for some minor graphical oddities. (why does your ship turn front facing for a few frames while switching sides, even when you're pointed backwards?) When I first saw the trailer I was afraid that this game would either be inaccessibly brutal or the two screens would make the game a complete push over. The truth is somewhere in-between. It's a very easy game all things considered especially on the most casual mode, but it also forces you to be vigilant in all directions, and memorize just a little bit. About half the time its extremely clear what side you're supposed to be on and the rest of the time you can safely traverse either. I could have gone with more bullets but I'm also happy for a casual experience that doesn't overstay its welcome. By the end of it I was wishing there was more levels as I was kind of attached to the balancing act.
