Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a short game which is built around the dopamine of scaling up skills and ressources. I had fun and for 5€ it's a nice game for a evening alone. It's not complicated and there is not a lot of focus required. I would have liked more emphasis on character controls and less scaling via a skill tree. Even though the (very powerful) skills you unlock feel satisfying at first, it gets a bit overwhelming very quickly. The late game skills, which are supposed to feel special and extra strong, don't feel like a major power spike after we already unlocked 8 other skills that, at this point of the game, destroy any block. Maybe the game needs a tiny rework on the balancing.

Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!^^ LG
Not worth the price imo. Finished it in 4.5 hours, and DEFINETLY not worth 7 euros (even I got with discount, I'm talking about original price). The goods: - Great artwork in general - Satisfying sound design - Good menu & intuitive - Well coded, no lag spikes, no crashes, pretty smooth - Idea is great in itself The bads: - Ending is underwhelming - Not enough content (again) for the asked price - Last 1/3 of the game ends up being very repetitive, no prestige or other mechanics - Very early on you are introduced with "missions" and they give some sort of currency, but you are not really explained what to do with that (unlock new relic slots) - Balancing (around skilltree) is really not good. Not going into detail, but I got stuck midway because I wasn't leveling up a "not important" skill (instead, I was levelling up "important" ones such as fuel, etc...), which later on unlocked some extra dmg to the drill & extra things that sped up. Took me forever to realize that I needed to go down a level of mine to mine extra materials that are deeper. I'm putting this as last item because this may have to do with my poor skill as well, but worth notin since it should be straightforward.
I dig it

Diggin is one of those incremental games you launch while listening to a podcast... then suddenly it's three hours later and your wrist hurts. It's simple, relaxing, surprisingly addicting, and somehow convinced me that this was a productive use of my evening. I found myself just replaying run after run before going to the shop so I could stock up on cash, then I could buy a ton of upgrades before returning to eradicate all the layers. Game takes roughly 5-8 hours to Beat depending on session time. I'm currently only two achievements away from 100%, but I think one of them requires restarting my run. Unfortunately, I've become far too powerful to accept such actions without playing another 7 hours.

Pros
• Super satisfying incremental progression. • Perfect "second monitor" game while listening to podcasts or watching YouTube. • Cute art style and relaxing atmosphere. • Constant upgrades keep the dopamine flowing. • Easy to learn and hard to stop playing. • Achievement hunting is genuinely fun.
Cons
• Your wrist may file a formal complaint. • One achievement might require restarting your run, and after becoming an unstoppable mining god... that's a tough sell. • Incremental games are dangerous if you enjoy seeing numbers go up.

Overall
This game absolutely knew what it was trying to be and nailed it. It's charming, relaxing, and incredibly addictive. I started playing casually and somehow ended up one of those people saying, "I'll stop after the next upgrade." Spoiler: there is always another upgrade. I'm convinced the developer secretly partnered with physical therapists because I walked away with carpal tunnel and a nearly completed achievement list. Worth it.

TL;DR
Cute game. Dug hole. Number got bigger. Wrist got weaker. 100% would dig again.
