Not bad!
not too bad, i pictured it worse
Diesel Punch is an adventure game developed by Vadd Games for the PC platform. The environment in the game belongs to the style of fiction, and the following features can be distinguished: action, adventure, indie, third-person, complex, for one player, meat, 3d platformer, robots, controller, soundtrack, steam achievements. You will have access to such game modes as"for one player".
overall alright for in between.
(Got this game for free via developer's submission to OMEGA Trade - G. Thanks!)
How do you give an android girl an abortion?
Diesel Punch is a simplistic game with light platforming and arena ambushes. You follow Eve, an engineer serving the rebels from the empire (who only send robots your way). She wears an engine on her back which monitors her health, gives her a dash ability, and powers up her club for mighty strikes. Her goal is to help the rebels in developing their own robot Atlas to take down the empire's elite robots. Gameplay, it's pretty simple in design. You run around, you jump gaps, you smack around robots. The platforming really falls apart, however, when the moving platforms come about, which doesn't really give you much time to plan out your jumps...which must be near perfect. This is also harmed when you see these white walls of indestructible blocks which you have to smack and try to dash up...if you're lucky. In terms of enemies, you don't get many....you have charging robots, single shot robots, flying robots, turrets, and a boss robot. Variety isn't really abundant. In the final real level, you have to race a clock...big problem with this is that it means death if it hits the one minute mark (sixty seconds), where it will keep ticking down, but count as a failure. In terms of the story, there's a lot to be desired. It's clearly a Russian game, especially with how the rebels talk about "for the people" in a communist manner. But the biggest problem is that several points just don't translate well and are filled with typos and grammatical errors. The models look decent and the portraits look nice. If I had a good analogy for Diesel Punch, it would be that like all the robots and machines in this game, it needs some development and some polish to get the rust and tarnish off. While it's not awful, there are aspects that prevent me from truly enjoying this title. It's a good way to burn 2 hours, though. 4/10 Needs further development, developers should work on hammering these out before releasing a sequel.
At first I thought this wasn't even that bad and felt like okay basis for actual game but then I got into the combat and platforming. Who thought it was good idea to do platforming sections and bind dash to shift and double tapping WASD?Camera getting behind walls when in tough situations so you are getting unnecessary damage and accidentally dashing into enemies while trying to avoid them. 4/10 last levels got me little frustrated.
A short 3D Adventure (with some platforming) game. In general the game isn't bad but the controls are junky as hell, especially during the platforming scenes. The character does a dash when you double press any of the movement keys which happens a lot when you don't intend to, annoying and shouldn't even be a thing in games. During combat the camera can (or will) be inside of the terrain and you fight blind and so on. The game itself offers secrets which will "upgrade" your Character with more damage or health, nothing to crazy. The combat itself is simple, you have 3 attacks (light, strong and a pounce) which either requires to charge up and/or "stamina" to perform. The enemy design is generic but require a certain way to fight (more or less though). The game is pretty straight forward, no paths you can take to explore (well the occasional Secret area..). It took me ~1 hour to complete with having to redo a certain area due to dying because of the platforming or I couldn't join the battle because the game spawned me outside of the "Arena" which will be shielded up during combat (so you can't run and heal) best to wait for a Sale if you consider buying it. I also would rate the game "neutral" but since VALVE doesn't allow it I have to chose the negative review because of the things mentioned above. I also received the game as a Gift, therefore I checked the "received for free". I'm not sure if VALVE only means if you got it from the Dev or not, but to be sure..
