Night after night, the same dream of a guillotine. A headhunting serial killer. And the "knights" in black who follow soon after. Irrationality that defies the realm of common sense begins to assault and devour the city.
Picture the scene.
You're chilling in synagogue with Netanyahu, and then all of a sudden you hear, ''G*yim assemble!'' And Nick Fuentes comes breaking through the wall, and Clav walks in right behind him, mogging. And then the ASU frat leader with Myron Gaines and Sneako come in and absolutely frame mog everyone in the synagogue. What do you think?
Начало динамичное, но оформление текста(иногда) желает лучшего. Много воды в сюжете. Музыкальное сопровождение отличное и озвучка тоже
Dies Irae is the edgier cousin of the Fate Stay VN series, and was clearly inspired by the occult, mythological and historical elements that make Fate what it is. There really is no clearer comparison in the world of VN than to Nasu's Fate series, and a brief description of the story below will likely confirm that. The story is centered around sorcerers who can only be described as nihilistic, misanthropic Nazis- and I mean that in the most literal way possible. The game begins with the fall of Hitlers Reich, and then ventures into a very Fate-inspired tale featuring a very familiar premise: Ley lines, sorcery, and the reappearance of mysterious figures who should have died long ago. These seemingly immortal beings emerge in modern day Japan, and, you guess it, a clueless MC has to come to terms with the sudden chaos and high stakes battles which ensue by accepting the mysterious power bestowed upon him. Where Dies Irae deviates from Fate is that there is a lot more poetic and philosophical pondering between chapters, and it shifts perspectives away from the MC much more often, showing the perspective and motivations of the other cast members much more often. It also does not have as much "day to day" or slice of life elements that sometimes bog down the Fate story, especially in terms of forced comedy elements. That was always my main issue with Fate, where the typical cringe "anime comedy" just felt strangely misplaced in a story that was otherwise surprisingly captivating and serious. While it may not have the gravitas and overall writing of Fate, Tsukihime, Chaos;Head/Chaos;Child or Steins gate, it absolutely holds its own as a unique VN whos strengths lie in its pacing, absurd edginess, and overall entertainment value. Definitely give it a read if the other VN listed are some of your favorites.
