This is a $20 Visual Novel you can read for free.
When it comes to free visual novels, I go in with a fair pinch of salt. When a game is made by a small group of people, I don't expect much. When the first thing I hear on the title screen of this game is a banger of a song that leads into a soundtrack that should not be as good as it is, I know I'm in for something special. 25 hours is how long it will take to read this story. During that time, you may find that events will not play as you might expect them to. The writer of this story gives you 3 decisions to make, with each path becoming a story of its own. These paths are not simply "Fall in love with girl, solve problem, everything's fine". Each path presents you with an idea, ideas born of a mind not content with following the formula. You will struggle with what you see. You will learn these new ideas that continue to elevate the imaginative powers of storytelling. You may even find something special by the end of it. And you'll get to hear kick-ass music while you're at it. The characters are memorable, the art: solid, the dialogue: fresh and witty. The game is good. If you are an avid reader of stories, looking for something new, this is it.

An author writes stories, but what about stories that write themselves? Starting with a #very cliché story about a prince finding a hero to fight the dark lord , it's up to you how to finish the story. Will you end it with a #happily ever after, or will you find a deeper, darker side? [olist]PROS: [*]12 independent endings #stories are not linked between them, so it makes them one of the VNs with the most replayability. [*]Not a lot of CGs, but it makes up with a lot of effect particles, #guess a lot of magic happens. [*]Endings are the strongest point of the VN #only reward patient players. I literally needed to rest mentally after finishing an ending #so much plot twist explosions for me [/olist] [olist]CONS: [*]A lot of writing mistakes. #guess English is not a native language for them... or is it? [*]A bug where you can only save at one slot so it might overwrite your previous saves #seriously, I want to save at that specific slot, not on a busy slot... Sorry, need to calm down. [*]Fighting scenes, among other scenes, are very detailed or slow, making them very boring. Also, they place a lot of out-of-context scenes. [/olist]
A normal VN, but some twists. No +18, but can be considered dating simulator. Some mistakes can be patched easily. The story may be unpredictable. #5/10.
Did you ever wonder how stories die? It's not hard and it's certainly not art. You just have to kill them. With a rather bad storytelling, tons of mistakes, continuity issues, missing or too many words and a very broken save system. You know it's bad when even the process of saving the game is a frustrating, luck-based experience. I'll go over the many flaws in detail in a moment, but first let me mention the few things that weren't terrible. The music is great and the characters look beautiful, featuring many different facial expressions. The story has a few good or funny moments. Occasionally. It's not a bad experience from start to finish, just something where the cons outweight and thus I can't recommend it. Okay, here we go. 1. Mistakes: Biggest issue. This game covers the whole range of errors, from continuity (arms becoming hands, "sacred mouse" tavern becoming "sacred rat") to grammar mistakes and even featuring whole words missing (or too many of them). It's a pain to read through. 2. Saving: How could he mess up such a simple thing as saving the game? You can select a slot to save - in theory. But then a box pops up where you can name/rename the slot and confirm the choice. Now the problem is that you have to move the mouse in order to interact with said box. And by moving the mouse, the selected save slot in the background also changes. By the time you confirm the save, only god knows which slot will actually be selected for saving. It's very random, frustrating and sometimes had me overwrite existing save slots even though I wasn't anywhere near them. 3. Storytelling: Particularly uninspired, taking existing stories and implementing them 1:1), Most characters act pretty much the same. No one recognizes their own prince and everyone is condescending, insulting or plain a pain in the ass - including the girls in the 3 routes. Sure, they have some unique traits here and there, but also way too many similarities. It feels like the writer wasn't very good at creating distinct personalities, so up to a point they feel like dfferent versions of one and the same character. I'll finish with a list of my "favourite" typos/errors, so you'll be the judge on whether or not this game is something worth reading. "I was so fast couldn't even here myself screaming." "My was act is pretty convincing, right?" "Can't you smell that that?" "Riko made a soar face" "I sword the dagger to the ground." "I suppose I won't mind won't hearing it." "How wrong I was wrong when I said that..." "With a great whooosh, like breaking the itself, Nozomi jumped up in the air." And last but not least: "Sore wa chigau zo." (?)
Adding to what the top review says, this is most definitely a $20 VN for free. Great soundtrack, fun characters and a nice true ending that wraps everything up as a whole. If you're a fan of VN's give it a try. My only complaint (which is just nit-picking at this point) is that I feel some scenes would be stronger with more CG's. But given this piece is free, I cant dock it. Also, kudos for the author for making this game. There would be some scenes which I would never have conceived, good on them for thinking of those lines to make the plot more engaging. Overall, thank you to the publisher for making an amazing free VN and give this game a try :)
Funny, twisted and you can't tell what's next. The game was interesting from the start. With the gangster white rabbit it is a "Horace in Wonderland" wild takeoff. Beautiful art.
Ever heard of the word ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Well this game is the very definition of that. If you have never been fked before, then worry no more. This is the fk for you.
Actually an amazing game, would have paid 15$ for something like this. Music is great, engaging story, and definitely unexpected plot twists. All in all, 9/10.
