Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A roguelite dice‑building creature collector where you control both sides of the fight by choosing one action at a time. Capture bugs, unlock new dice, and customize every run.

Control both sides of the fight by choosing the order in which actions happen. Each die shows an action, and the battle only moves forward when you decide which ones to play.

Weaken and capture any bug instead of defeating it, then choose at the end of the battle to swap it into your party or send it home to your collection for future runs. Yes, even elites and bosses can be captured.

Build your party from any bugs you have captured and customize your support die with the faces you have unlocked before starting each run.

Create powerful synergies by choosing bugs whose abilities stack or complement each other. Their position in battle and the order in which the dice are played determine how their effects chain together into unique and sometimes broken combos.

Visit the shop at any time to reroll or restock it with upgrades that support your build. Battles end with rewards that give either a permanent stat boost or more bottles to catch new bugs. Bosses drop new die faces that unlock new ways to customize your support die in future runs.
Capture every bug, including elites and bosses.
Build unique teams from your growing collection.
Customize your support die with unlocked faces.
Create powerful synergies through team choice and dice order.
Casual PvP matches with no risk of losing units and full control of both sides.
Viewer-triggered Twitch Redeems that help or sabotage your run.
Fully compatible on Steam Deck, with smooth performance and complete controller support.

Dicey Bugs is great. I've been playing it since the beta and it's still a blast. The game play is super simple but there's so many combinations that each run is different. The bugs are super cute (the shiny Goliath beetle is my favorite) and I like that they wear little bottle caps sometimes. The achievements are all doable with a lot of them being challenging if you're into achievement hunting. I get a little giddy every time I get an unexpected achievement. There's also a *lot* of bugs to capture including shiny variants and a whole section of dice faces to unlock if you're into the collection aspect of the game. The game is perfect for either playing for hours on end or if you only have like 10 minutes before the uber gets there. Looking forward to seeing what the devs have in mind for the future.
I can't believe this game is not more popular. Stumbled across it while browsing the Steam store and could not be happier that I did. An awesome roguelike that stands on it's own in a sea of roguelikes. I personally love how the shiny variants actually have slightly better abilities than their base variant counterparts. Makes finding them that much more satisfying. 10/10 for me.

I absolutely love this game. I got into it because it reminded me of Dicefolk (which I really enjoyed), but this one takes things to the next level. One of the biggest frustrations I had with games like this was getting wrecked by bad RNG and ending up with a party that just didn’t work. But here? The devs totally nailed it. You get full control from the start, capture the units you want, tweak your dice however you need, and the shop is always there to help you round out your build. It’s just so satisfying. Finding a build that completely steamrolls the competition is hilarious and super rewarding. The bugs are adorable, unlocking new starter dice keeps things fresh, and the pacing is spot-on for me, never too slow, never too chaotic. I’m hooked and can’t wait to unlock everything and try some even wilder builds. P.S. I’ve jumped into a few streams with Twitch integration and it’s an absolute blast. If you’re a streamer, please give it a shot with chat enabled. Your viewers will go nuts for it.
Yes, really nice game. Good game loop and choices. I love it!
This is a really fun game that scratches that "collect them all" itch. I 100% completed it and finished on Christmas too! The game didn't feel too long. Although after I had captured everything and had several runs completed in hard mode, the runs to finish my achievements did feel a little tedious toward the end but it wasn't that bad. The gameplay is fun overall. Some of the equipment you can get is basically automatic run-winners. (Sleeping opponents at end of turn and such.) I would definitely recommend this game! I really like the art style too.
A really great run-based creature collector! Each battle is a delightful puzzle to solve: considering the positioning of your teams, the available dice, and active abilities. It feels really awesome to progress, capture bugs, and deck out your team across each run.
So I don't normally play these types of games but I happened upon the demo a while ago and had a blast! Dicey Bugs is a roguelite with a very cute aesthetic where you control bugs on your team and the opponent's team. As someone who doesn't frequent this type of strategy game, it was very easy and fun to jump into and challenging enough to want another run immediately after finishing the previous. The mechanics are quite simple to understand at first, but it's surprising how deep the strategy can get. You are (usually) rewarded for experimenting with different bugs, their variants, equipment, and even items and changing up your dice rolls. Finding synergies that work for you and ways to make a team broken drives the next "One more run" feeling. The art and music are also quite nice! The designs are simple but have charm and the music is a good vibe. The boss music is my jam and hits just right when you're fighting a shiny Mantis! I definitely plan to 100% the game! Only-aphids run enjoyer! Highly recommend the game!
really enjoying this game. the battle mechanics are refreshing, creating unique strategy with teams is a lot of fun, and customization options all round i feel is perfect. if they happen to make a dicey bugs 2. more bugs is always a +. would be cool to see more gameplay options. maybe look into a vs option or extended runs or an endless mode that get progressively harder. a story mode could be fun as well. sky is the limit really. but overall ive been having a great time with this one. definitely worth the buy for some quick in and out fun to pass the time
I played this game's demo during one of our weekly Demo days on my stream and got instantly hooked! When you start the game, the music and sound is at a perfect volume! This is SOOO important. Too many demos/games start with ear killing music and I'm so grateful for any game that isn't crazy loud when you start it, especially as a headphone wearer. Character customization is great! It's basic and very cute! Game play is fun and like potato chips, addicting! You start battling your bugs and collecting them, and next thing you know, its tomorrow morning. There's fun achievements to get too and the art looks really good! You also get to learn a few fun facts about bugs which is super neat! 10/10 would recommend! ♥
This is some of the most fun I've had as a streamer with Twitch integration and viewers in chat. The game is a prime example of what a lot of developers should focus on: simple to learn and difficult to master. The various combinations between your bugs, items, and dice make for a ton of fun combinations. I encountered zero issues during my play-through (no crashes, stuttering, or anything of that sort) My only two critiques are to perhaps offer a limit per minute (or like 5 minutes) of redeemable interactions (things can get a little hectic depending on how active your chat is), and of course I'd love for a little bit more content. That all being said, the price, combined with the replay value (especially if you're a streamer) makes this a phenomenal purchase, and for those who love roguelites and creature collectors it's an absolutely great purchase. Also, check out the devs other game "Hex Island" as it's great in its own right, too!
