DICETINY: The Lord of the Dice

Was happy to see this back and still being worked on. Their sense of humour is just fun for me...and can play a short session in about 10-15 minutes. I don't know if it will ever be possible, but would love to see this made multiplayer, even if just hotseat play on the same computer. Anyways, thanks and welcome back devs.

The game is amazing!!! Very fun and a lot of puns :D :D . The only downsize is that it crashes often... Nevertheless I really recommend this game and for the money it is worth it!!!

crashes in middle of duels

A solid game for the price. The game occasionally crashed for me but I was still able to finish it without major problems. The writing/humor won't appeal to everyone, but the dice + cards mechanic is surprisingly fun given the limited level/board size. If it sounds interesting, I recommend you give it a look, especially on sale. The deck design provides a decent amount of choice and options. Cards earn a little slowly at first but soon enough you accumulate enough currency to buy what you want. A minor complaint is that you can't use cards across multiple characters. Having to pick up extra copies just to outfit secondary decks was mildly annoying. There's a few different victory conditions and the levels/boards, while very small, are randomized a bit, so there's a decent enough variety to keep things from getting too repetitive. The boss mechanic was fun although I would have liked to see a little more variety there. I experienced a crash with the tornado card, but by not using the spell on the same spot where it crashed before I was able to work around it. Other people are experiencing different crashes (which I did not see) so you may want to check the forum to see how much that worries you. The various characters' bonus skill were different enough to keep things interesting and make it feel like you could make a minor strategic decision in what type of deck to build for them. The overall game is pretty short, took me a few days of brief sessions to beat, but it does feel like a complete game. I'm not sure if I will go back and play it again to try out deck builds, so I'd say the replay value isn't huge. For the time to beat + the fun game mechanics I think the asking price is quite fair. If the game mechanics sound fun and you enjoy/don't mind some over-the-top pop culture + movie references, then I'd definitely reccomend this game.

Dicetiny is a game that draws you into the fascinating world of dice-based strategy. Virtual dice rolls determine the fate of your heroes during combat, adding an element of randomness and excitement. Although the interface may be a bit overwhelming at first, the depth of gameplay and the ability to customize your card deck make the game more and more interesting as you gain experience. For fans of card and strategy games - worth checking out.

Bon , le jeu est tres joli mais helas la zone de jeu est tres petite et surtout tout se joue au hasard ! Pas vraiment de trategie a appliquer dans ce cas et encore vous avez des cartes a tirer (au hasard) pour vous en sortir ... Bref un jeu bete et mechant ou on doit faire chuter l adversaire a 0 point de vie pour pouvoir en affronter un autre .... La zone est extremement petite et comme un peu au monopoli vous pouvez poser des adversaires ou en acheter pour faire descendre plus vite la jauge de points de vie de votre adversaire ! Donc vous deplacement se resume donc a un jet de des et vous avancer toujours dans le meme sens tandis que votre adversaire lui va en sens contraire ....Le seul avantage de ce jeu c est que les parties sont relativements rapides vu qu avec une moyenne de 3 jets de des on fait le tour de la zone .... Bref plutot une curiosite a voir car cela ne m a pas trop convaincu malgres les graphismes tres cartoons et tres bien realises et une gestion assez efficace .... Interet : 11/20 Realisation : 13/20

Fun, good looking time waster. I'm generally not a card game player but this is a simple enough game for me to play for an hour here or there when i'm in the mood for a board game. For the price it's at now it's unbeatable.
