Journey through the Hell-scarred land of Sanctuary; faithfully preserved and enhanced with modern 3D graphics, remastered audio, and updated cinematics.
The included Reign of the Warlock DLC expands upon the Diablo II: Resurrected experience with the brand-new Warlock class, an overhauled endgame, fresh mechanics, and modern quality-of-life updates.

Experience the story of a world ravaged by eternal conflict between the forces of Heaven and Hell. Obtain powerful items, master over 200 awe-inspiring skills across eight classes, and vanquish the minions of the Burning Hells in 8 player co-op. Dominate the leaderboards, then get a fresh start with seasonal ladder resets that introduce new challenges.

The Warlock arrives in Diablo II: Resurrected, a master of shadow who turns the power of the Burning Hells against itself.
Command forbidden power through three unique paths:
• Demon focuses on enslaving hellspawn and binding them into loyal, fearsome allies that fight at your command.
• Eldritch channels searing mental magics into ordinary weapons, transforming them into conduits of devastating force.
• Chaos unleashes the raw elements of Hell, fire and shadow allowing you to rain elemental destruction upon your enemies from afar.

Collect new Unique items, sets, and runewords to create powerful new builds for classic classes.
Take on expanded endgame challenges with Terror Zone updates, the Colossal Ancients fight, reworked enemy difficulty scaling, and new mechanics that reward strategy and class mastery.
Track your progress with the new Chronicle system, which shows all the items you’ve collected account-wide and rewards completionists with exclusive bonuses.

Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition includes powerful quality-of-life updates without compromising Diablo II’s iconic feel. The new customizable Loot Filter reduces screen clutter, helping you identify the gear that matters most to you. Managing resources across characters is also easier than ever with updated Stash Tabs, including dedicated tabs for gems, materials, and runes for quick sorting.
Feeling nostalgic? Switch freely between eras and experience Diablo II the way you remember.

Celebrate your journey through Sanctuary and beyond. Instantly unlock Kervek the Putrid Pet and the Forbidden Tethers Back Trophy in Diablo IV, giving your wanderer a touch of forbidden flair. You’ll also receive the Horadric Cube Housing Item in World of Warcraft, a timeless artifact to display proudly at your home in Azeroth.

lol...yes...i only have played this for 14 hours...and 14 hours only
it is like diablo 4 but half of that
It plays like the old game, with alot of new tricks that make this classic so much better. This all I ever wanted, this on Steam.
Recently I was presented with the opportunity to buy D2 for the 3rd time or D4 for the first time, I had to choose between numbing myself and hiding in the past by bathing in nostalgia, or being brave and looking to the future... ...Stay a while, and listen...

This remaster is my dream come true: - The visuals realize almost perfectly what I imagined the world to be back in the day - Modern resolution and frame rate - Shared stash - Quickcast - Loot filter - Resource tabs - Complete content in offline play - Controller support - When a belt column is empty, a corresponding potion from the inventory is automatically used for [1] healing [2] mana [3] rejuvenation (controller only) - When in the inventory, pressing and holding the right stick will refill the belt from the inventory (controller only) - Loot to Cube (controller only) - When using a controller, telekinesis will ignore filtered loot - QoL via Steam Controller Layout - Large font - Terror zones - Auto pickup for gold - Numerous balancing improvements - Hydra without cast delay - Improved public game selection UI - Secondary stats - More mercenary info - Fixed mana burn - Players count slider that persists between games - Increased ammo stacks - Gambling refresh - Online characters are not being deleted anymore after three months of inactivity - Remastered sound Wishlist: - Charm inventory - Give casters better ways to add some quality of life healing, like a prayer aura, replenish life or life after kill, so you don't have to heal chip damage with healing potions all the time - More end game items with +magic find without sacrificing combat power, how about unique versions of the Tomes of identify and town portal with some magic find? - Low frequency in-game trading system, like one trade every few days, to keep it balanced with self-found
The legendary game, modernized.
I love it
this is from a steam deck and also ps5. For more than a 10 yr old game, u'd think it would run better.
Classis D2 LoD with optional additions - which you can toggle to your preference - along with expanded legendaries/runewords, a new character class and more content to keep you going.
