Devil Tears is another asset/template flip from ImperiumGame. This time they took a template for a 2D retro pixel puzzle game (it looks like a platformer, but you just move left or right at the same time to traverse the level while avoiding boxes from above) from Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio 2, changed a couple of things, and dumped it on Steam as if they wrote it themselves. Copying someone else's work/template and calling it your own is a real nasty, morally void cash grab. That's all ImperiumGame do, copy other people's work/templates, slap on some flipped assets, and try to scam gamers into paying them for it. An important note: ImperiumGame are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. One example of ImperiumGame doing this is Mad Bus, which is really the "ZigZag Infinite Runner Game" asset, written by the actual developers, Puppeteer. Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend. Don't reward this morally bankrupt behaviour. Spend your money on games written by genuine game developers instead.
Awful cash grab Not Worth a penny. Got it for free from someone... So easy library filler but playing it is f**ing useless. It's just stolen re modelled assets plus crappy gameplay. Agreeing with the only other review as of now and will not recommend you buy it. In fact it's so bad i wouldn't even take it for free if offered. So go ahead and play it if your still not dissuaded. You will regret it.
Скучная и однообразная игра! Ничего интересного здесь вы не увидите. Ни в коем случае не советую ее к покупке!
Devil Tears promises reaction-based platforming, but delivers unfair deaths and repetition. Falling blocks give no time to react, spikes kill on graze, and the grid jumping feels stiff. No progression or unlocks, just 20-30 identical levels. Visuals basic, music loops annoyingly. Short-lived frustration, uninstalled quickly.
Asset flip/cash grab garbage. 1/10
This exotic game surprised me in a good way. It feels creative, relaxing, and enjoyable, making it easy to spend time playing it.
Слабенькая. Короткие уровни. Оценочка 3 из 10
A fast-paced 2D platformer where you have to jump, dodge falling blocks and spikes, and think on your feet. The game is bright, easy to learn, and offers a great, fast-paced challenge for a small price.
