In gameplay, it's a sxxx game, but in achievement, it's a god game.
Although the scenes are crisp and high quality, this game is let down abysmally by its horrific UI. Level achievements rush by the screen when opening the game without being able to view them. Rudimentary symbols that are suppose to represent some extremely basic menu commands that you can only guess what they might be. A scene menu that shows the first three scenes and no other (there are around... well actually, I don't know how many scenes there are because the scene achievements fly by the screen on opening like teenagers to a frat party). To even exit the game you have to back out by reengaging a scene to get to a menu to do so. Is it too hard to put an exit button or option on the between scenes screen. After completing a scene you are provided 4 random achievement icons which you can only guess what they mean (the last 2 I figured are for getting 3 stars and a time achievement; the first 2 are for getting 1 and 2 stars perhaps... or maybe for just trying or having the patience to put up with the terrible user interface)! And Steam achievements! You may as well have "breathe in and out 5 times" as an achievement which would pretty much match the performance requirements of the measly 5 achievements currently offered. I know this is a basic seek and click game, but really, the time spent on this area was obviously late on a Friday afternoon just before a pub crawl. If you like seek the object games, this has lovely scenes with fairly easy objects to find, as long as you can put up with an interface that has no logical sense, little to no tool tip assistance and no clear way of seeing what you have achieved on each scene. Follow The Cpt Froggy Club Curator Page for plenty more!
Hidden Object: Detective Holmes – Heirloom: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The great detective Sherlock Holmes and his mate Dr Watson are again asked to investigate a crime scene. It all started with an anonymous letter addressed to Holmes, and it soon became clear that an expensive family relic was stolen and a butler poisoned! Will our caricatures of Sherlock Holmes and his mate, Dr. Watson, be ready to solve their new adventure in Hidden Object: Detective Holmes – Heirloom? Hidden Object: Detective Holmes – Heirloom is a casual hidden object game developed and self -published by Crisp App Studio on the 4th of September 2021 on the Steam platform. The game is also available on the Apple store and Google play. The game consists of 30 levels, including a few where you have to find the differences between two images side by side. The levels are typical of this type of game, which is a bit of a disappointment as Crisp App Studio have successfully introduced the 360-degree image levels in some of their previous games. However, they have kept their standard in regard to the collectables, which are: play the level for the first time, replay the level, get 3 golden stars and finish a level within 45 seconds. I am pleased to say that you have enough items to find in each level to replay the game at least 3 times before scoring a high level in terms of points. I appreciate that. I also appreciate the fact that in all the levels most of the items are well integrated within each of the images and might trick your eyes along the way. If you are a truly casual player, you might finish the game within an hour. However, if you want to achieve all the collectables, you’ll be playing this game for 2 and a bit hours, maximum. It’s a bit short, but enjoyable. I like the graphics and the caricature style of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. The story is fun and the way it is told keeps you wanting to know more. It is well made but it is a short game and conservative in terms of Hidden Object games. Is it enjoyable? Yes, it is but nothing more and nothing less. Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Nice Graphics + 30 levels in total + Enough items to find per level to play them at least 3 times + Achievements Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No trading cards as yet - Very short game Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are on the hunt to discover who stole an expensive family relic. 5/10 Key provided by the developer/publisher for review purposes.
Oto przepis: - 1,5 kg obranej dyni (samego miąższu) - Szklanka mleka - Szklanka bulionu, np. warzywnego - Szklanka śmietanki kremówki - 4 ząbki czosnku - 4 łyżki łuskanych pestek dyni - Szczypta gałki muszkatołowej - Sól - Pieprz Może być natka pietruszki do przystrojenia. Przygotowanie zupy zajmuje ok. 30 min. Dla 3-4 osób. Smacznego!
For true fans of HO, this game may be refreshingly simple or frustratingly dumb. It is essentially HO scenes strung together with a short mystery told via story cards you read in between scenes. The scenes are very nicely illustrated and the items are integrated well but not challenging enough for HO enthusiasts. I will echo another reviewer's opinion on navigating to the main menu, where you must enter a scene to access the menu button. It is not well thought out. Overall, this is just a very simple HO game with not much engagement. I still recommend this as there is some replay value if you are a completionist and want to obtain all the collectibles/achievements. There is also something to be said for its simplicity and efficiency -- not very exciting but it won't tax your brain much.
