While all four storyline arcs can easily be completed in a total time of under two hours, this game offers a good combination of intriguing storyline, catchy music and consistently high quality artwork. It manages to throw an almost endless barrage of (often intentionally bad) puns at you without it becoming tiresome, and even offers a plot-twist or two to try and keep you off the track of the real perp. While the character cast is small and predictable at first, they are very thoroughly worked out and run deeper than they seem, making the story feel complete without becoming too crowded. In short: an excellent game, as long as you don't expect to get more than a few hours of gameplay out of it.
This is a wonderfull visual detective novel suitable for younger gamers. The mysteries involve simple things from finding out who stole a cookie to who stole the Golden Sneeze from the museum. Light hearted and funny mysteries that can be played through in a single evening. I had a lot of fun playing this with my nephew and watching him solve the mysteries. Made babysitting the kid really enjoyable.
It's on the short side for visual novels, but enjoyable nonetheless. The characters felt predictable at first, but the game throws a few unexpected twists your way to try an keep you away from the real culprit. The only real downside is that a lot of events are shared between story lines (4 in total) which can make certain events rather predictable when doing again. If you're looking to spend an afternoon this game can bring you quite the charming and enjoyable way to do it.
Lovely game, good atmosphere & really cute cast. Good fun to play as a couch-coop whodunnit. Definitely recommend giving it a whirl.
This is a dont buy as all the episodes the same story with minor tweaking. playing the same story four times is more than a little boring to do as there is little or no diference in story. ending changes most in the different episodes but does not make up for lack of diiference in main tale.
Wonderful game! I love the characters, the dialogue trees are great fun, and the art is beautiful as well. Awesome steampunk atmosphere that never takes itself too seriously. I also love the diversity (two of the main characters are gay, Hank has dark skin, etc.) and the super cute relationships between the characters.
Very fun game. The storyline is entertaining with great sense of humor. Especially the part about the (mobile) phone is very funny! Nice and colourful pictures and a relaxing soundtrack. Definitely recommended.
As a fan of mystery and detective games, I decided to try this one out as it was on sale. For the pros I do enjoy that the game has a unique aesthetic and feel to it and how the culprit changes for each ending, giving a reason for us to play through it a few more times. What I didn't like was how it felt tedious, clicking through a lot of the same dialogue with brief variation in choosing a couple of different things. I wish there was a skip button. Also thought it was weird and took away from the thought process when you had to pick answers towards the end and their were arrows directing you to the right ones. But overall, I'd say if you're looking to kill an hour or so for a cute lil mystery I'd recommend it, but i'd only do it on sale.
A VN mystery solving game with four routes in the main game and 3 in the bonus. I liked the artwork mainly for its simplicity and minimal nature. This is easily a game to play when you want to play a quick game but don't want to invest too much time in it. My playthrough is longer since I had to take breaks in between my office work. The story is very simple and looking for clues amidst the conversation becomes easier on your second play through. However, by the time I was on route 3, it did start to become a little too repetitive - thankfully, they have the option to skip the dialogues until the next choice. Be warned though, you may potentially miss out on any different dialogues. If I have to nitpick, I'd say the skip option can be configured on the main screen itself along with the ability to stop when it hits a different dialog route. Verdict: 7/10
