Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Story:
The evil space pirate Krater has dispatched his robotic army to capture all of the planets in the system.
The only hope to stop him is Comit the Astrodian, a meteor man from the planet Astrodia who has a rocket pack attached to his back.
Kick Krater off each planet and take back the system.
Comit's Abilities:
Comit can use his rocket pack to boost and double jump his way through each stage while collecting yellow and red stars that give him lives or
allow him to entire bonus stages.
Development:
Comit is designed like early 90's platformers because it was actually created back then on paper. The first prototype was created in 2011. The current
incarnation started development in January of 2016. While simple in formula, the game was created to hold true to it's original 1994 blueprint with the
addition of a save system that was created to accommodate the modern style of game.

Оценивая этот бесполезный отзыв, вы поощряете мою тягу к саморазрушению. overall very good. can recommend it.
"Comit the Astrodian" is a very badly made Sonic/Mario bros ripoff, and I'm not kidding about how badly made this is, the word "comet" is misspelled in the title for starters. I wish that was the only problem with the game... but it's just the tip of the iceberg. The first thing players must know about this is that the keyboard controls don't work properly, you can't jump and move in either direction at the same time. For a platformer, that's a death sentence, the game can't be played due to fundemental ineptitude on the part of the "developer" of this train wreck. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls and game handling are notably very clunky and unsmooth here. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing. They dropped the ball on this one. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. A strong argument can be made that construction kits like GameMaker Studio should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", LunarCore Games has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Comit the Astrodian" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for collecting 100 stars, trivial to achieve (if you can get the controls to work), but less than 5 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 5 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother to played the game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. "Comit the Astrodian" is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
не советую, крайне убогая поделка, сделанная только чтобы срубить денег на карточках.
Comit is kind of like the Deadly Premonition of platformers. You could write a book about it's numerous flaws yet it somehow manages to be fun. Who woulda thought?
💋
I do not do reviews but here goes... Comit is honestly something I picked up just to bypass a system to switch my region, but this was honestly such a sweet game and I'm so lucky I played it, albeit it was incredibly easy but I believe that was the point. The creator Lonnie made the character when he was 8 years old and was something to pass down to his daughter. When I saw that it made me remember how games don't need to be this crazy threshold of story or game play mechanics, but just simple fun you can put on to play and talk to a friend with or even just record and just vibe out with. Once again, something about the credits about this game being for his daughter really was sweet to see and made this game ten times more human than it needed to be. I'm glad that this game was the game I chose at random, and man it felt good to just pick up a game I had no clue about and just enjoy myself without any restraints just like I did when I was a kid. Lonnie, ya done good and I hope you keep doing amazing things like this to make random people like myself just feel relaxed and smile the whole way through!
